Located on Kauai's beautiful South Shore, Poipu Shores has one of the best views on the Island of Kauai. Imagine yourself sitting on your lanai admiring the rainbows or watching the sunrise over the water with the gentle trade winds flowing by. This is an ideal spot for dolphin and whale watching (in season) as well.

Just minutes away, the world famous Poipu Beach offers a beautiful spot perfect for swimming, snorkeling or laying out in the sunshine. While snorkeling in Poipu, you will discover a variety of colorful fish, including the state fish--Humuhumunukunukuapuaa. There is a wading lagoon for toddlers and young swimmers. Poipu Beach also has a large grassy park with children's play area, picnic area, showers and restrooms. Brenneke's Beachside Deli, across the street, offers cold drinks, snacks, and the South Shore's most popular shaved ice! Stop by the deli for delicious sandwiches, all kinds of snacks and treats, and the cool relief of shaved ice.

Adjacent to Poipu Beach, you will find Brennecke's Beach, one of the top body surfing and body boarding beaches on Kauai. Waves break consistently throughout the year, but it is usually best during the summer months.

There are two restaurants less than a ten-minute walk from Poipu Shores vacation condos. Casa di Amici's dining room is open-air, al fresco, casual, romantic, take-your-time dining at its finest with grand piano music on Saturday nights. Brennecke's Beach Broiler overlooks Poipu Beach where you can enjoy steak, seafood, pasta, sandwiches and an assortment of organic salad selections. Their bar is a great stop for pupus and to watch a game.

We offer a vacation membership available for the Exclusive (Members Only) Poipu Beach Athletic Club (pool, tennis, workout) for a fee. When you stay with us you have the unique opportunity of joining the Poipu Beach Athletic Club (PBAC). Your membership provides you with access to one of the island's only fitness centers with a cardio room and weight pavilion, use of the resort pool, waterslide, hot tub and sand-bottomed kiddie section, tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts with free racquets and balls, shuffleboard, water aerobic classes, yoga classes and more. All racquets, balls and yoga mats are provided as part of the membership.

Have a late departure flight? No problem. The club membership includes secure baggage storage. Cost is only $100 a week per property (up to 8 guests).

PBAC is gearing up towards providing the ultimate family fun and fitness environment for its lucky members. Plans have been submitted for new bathrooms and garden showers with lockers.

A Farm to Table Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with pool service for the members. The outdoor yoga pavilion “Zen Den” holds daily classes adjacent to a community lawn that will provide hours of family entertainment with lawn games such as boccie ball, croquet, bean bag throw, etc. The lawn will be an outdoor venue for Movie in the Park nights, concerts, parties and celebrations.
