"The Legacy" is one of our most popular group or multi-family homes. Boasting six bedrooms and four baths, this home sleeps up to 18 people! The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and two refrigerators. The living room has 4 skylights, a 55" flat screen satellite TV/VCR, DSL/WiFi, a DVD player, and a fireplace (wood provided in season). The downstairs family room has plenty of books, puzzles, and board games, as well as a CD player and second TV/VCR for entertainment. The private deck has a picnic table & chairs, lounge chairs, and a gas BBQ – perfect for grilling and eating your favorite meal.
Our home is located in the little community of Wawona, 6 miles INSIDE the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. It makes a wonderful home base while you explore and play in Yosemite.

During the summer, you have the opportunity to relax in the Merced River & cascading waterfalls, enjoy a hike to nearby Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the Meadow Loop Trail. Enjoy fine dining & play golf at the historic Wawona Hotel, go horseback riding, enjoy Ranger walks and talks, or visit the Living History Center.
In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Wawona Hotel. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
In the winter, the family-friendly Badger Pass Ski Area offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.
In the spring, the rivers and waterfalls throughout the Park, including nearby Chilnualna Falls, are nothing short of amazing. Come enjoy and relax in the welcoming atmosphere of our unique community..
