"Miller's Landing" is a beautiful, Gold rated home that has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and sleeps up to twelve guests. The home has Central Air Conditioning and Heating. The spacious, great room has a large fireplace (firewood provided in season), and combines the living room, dining room, and kitchen with an open floor plan making it great for family or group gatherings. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a garbage disposal and dishwasher. The living room has DSL/WiFi, satellite TV, DVD & VCR players. The loft/game room has a TV, foosball table, board games, puzzles, video library, and a VCR player, making it great for the kids to have their own space while remaining within earshot of the family. This home also has a washer and dryer. The private wrap around deck is surrounded by Pine, Oak, and Cedar trees, and has a gas BBQ, picnic table & chairs making it perfect for outdoor grilling & dining. The Hot Tub is located on the side deck of the porch! "Miller's Landing" is also just a short walk away from the south fork of the Merced River!
Our home is located in the little community of Wawona, 6 miles INSIDE the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. It makes a wonderful home base while you explore and play in Yosemite.
Depending on the season, there is always something special to enjoy!
During the summer, you have the opportunity to relax in the Merced River & cascading waterfalls, enjoy a hike to nearby Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the Meadow Loop Trail. Enjoy fine dining & play golf at the historic Wawona Hotel, go horseback riding, enjoy Ranger walks and talks, or visit the Living History Center.
In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Wawona Hotel. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
In the winter, the family-friendly Badger Pass Ski Area offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.
In the spring, the rivers and waterfalls throughout the Park, including nearby Chilnualna Falls, are nothing short of amazing. Come enjoy and relax in the welcoming atmosphere of our unique community.
