Leinster Gardens III has packed its five floors with personality, starting in the entrance hallway. Chequered floor tiles lead to a staircase with a cast-iron balustrade, and the kitchen (to the right) has a huge gorilla painting and a hand-blown glass chandelier. The TV room is down the hallway, followed by the dining room. The host is an architect, and its table for eight, bordered by arched windows and modern artwork, doubles as the setting for his board meetings.
The staircase in the hallway leads up – by way of the roof terrace – to the period-featured sitting room. Velvet sofas are draped with faux cheetah fur at the front, and to the rear is a large-windowed study area. Head up for the master, and its large ensuite, or up again for two more bedrooms. At the very top is another double bedroom, as well as another sitting room.
