The villa is less than fifteen minutes away from the charming city of Lucca, known for, among other things, its intact Renaissance-era city walls. Florence is less than an hour’s drive away. The villa is also conveniently close to a golf course, a tennis court and even a spa. Landscaped grounds with lush gardens full of lilacs, camellias, 300 year old olive trees and wisteria provide a relaxing atmosphere. The tiled pool encourages guests to enjoy a soothing swim while admiring the gorgeous views. Lounge chairs around the pool are perfect for sunbathing while reading a good book. The villa was crafted out of an ancient convent that dates back to the 17th century. This three leveled villa still preserves the original stone walls. High, beamed ceilings and terracotta flooring embellish the interiors that have been decorated in a typical Italian country style. The ground level of the villa has a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious great room and a terrace perfect for a social encounter. The grand salon with a fireplace on the first floor allows guests to relax on a chilly afternoon. This room overlooks the lovely Tuscan countryside. Four bedrooms are located on the first floor as well. Five additional bedrooms can be found the third floor. All the bedrooms in the villa have en-suite bathrooms.
