This luxurious, yet warm, log constructed chalet enjoys a privileged location on a small hill in Klosters, providing for stunning views of the resort, just a five minute walk from the village and ski lifts. Recently named one of the top ten chalets in Switzerland by the Daily Telegraph, the charming chalet was completely refurbished in 2006. The Klosters shares its extensive skiing network with the near-by town of Davos. Combined, the Klosters and Davos are home to 190 miles of downhill runs and 52 ski lifts, as well as boasting some of the best off-piste skiing in the world. Several spas, including the renowned Verenia Hotel Spa, are close by. Klosters provides a variety of dining opportunities. Shopping, galleries and a casino are located a few minutes away in Davos. Cross country skiing, skating, sleigh runs, horse drawn sleigh rides, winter polo, snow shoe trekking, snowboarding, swimming, tennis and squash are all conveniently accessible from Chalet B. The four level chalet hosts several cozy sitting areas, and an ample view terrace as well as several balconies. The entrance level hosts a sitting room, a TV room, and a lounge. The terrace traverses the width of the chalet on this level. The dining room, chef’s kitchen, powder room, and guest powder room, as well as one bedroom suite,are found on the ground level. The dining room, with its long wooden table, seats up to 16 guests by the cozy fireplace. A TV/study room boasts a plasma TV with Sky network, a computer and Wifi internet connection. A music system is available throughout the chalet. Chalet B is fully staffed, so guests may lounge by one of its three fireplaces while awaiting their chef prepared meals. Chalet B hosts four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The bathrooms are spacious with marble finishings and heated floors. The large double beds on the first floor may be separated into two twin beds if desired. The master suite is located on the top floor and hosts a king sized bed, a fireplace and bathroom with a shower and a bath and separate water closet. Chalet B offers modern amenities in a charming tradtional Swiss chalet, with warm interiors, designer touches, and spectacular views of Klosters and the ski areas. From arrival, guests feel both at home and pampered; from the greeting with welcome champagne and canapes, to morning coffee or tea delivered to private bedrooms, guests’ desires are anticipated. The Klosters is family friendly and Chalet B provides CD and games selections as well as sleighs. The very popular Mardens Club Junior Training is held in March and April, and runs are available for all levels of skiers.
