At the Crooked Lake Retreat you'll find a beautiful, fully furnished, executive home supplied with all the necessary elements which will make you feel like you have returned home.
The great room is striking in its openness. Its glass doors and large high-level panes allow an unobstructed view of Crooked Lake and the beautiful, large deck.
The architecture of the great room, entry foyer, kitchen, and dining area create an expansive, open feeling. The floor is hardwood oak throughout the great room and hardwood laminate upstairs. There are ceiling-level Casablanca fans to cool, or provide air circulation for the great room and the TV Room. There is a complete entertainment center in the great room, with a large plasma TV satellite-dish connected, a VCR, DVD player, plus a stereo with a CD player in the family room.
The gourmet kitchen has two range/ovens, as well as two microwaves. There is a separate wet bar and full sized refrigerator in the bar area for entertaining
There are 6 bedrooms with three bathrooms upstairs. Downstairs there is one large bedroom, and two bathrooms. Some of the bedrooms have their own television and DVD player.
You may wish to dock your boat or jet skis at our own private dock. Enjoy the excellent fishing that the Crooked Lake affords. Or play in the water and pebbly water beach bottom in front of your home. Or simply relax as you lounge on the patio furniture of your deck and enjoy the beauty of the lake. For cooler weather you'll enjoy the fireplace accenting the dining room and great room.
Beautiful fall and winter lake views await you. If you are visiting South Bend, you can enjoy a beautiful commute to and from Notre Dame football and then relax in a setting which has all the comforts of home.
In addition to the Crooked Lake Retreat, you may want to also rent the Jimmerson Retreat if you have a very large family reunion, group gathering, or business meeting.

We have stayed in this home three years in a row! It is perfectly located between family members in Illinois and Ohio. The accommodations are perfect for our family and we look forward to returning in December 2013!

We had a huge group of us stay here for 3 nights over the new years weekend. What a perfect place for a getaway. Huge kitchen table, open floor space so we weren't cramped. There were plenty of beds, and the kitchen was great for cooking. The bonfire pit out back was awesome, and there was ping pong in the basement as well. Highly recommended, thanks for such a great trip.

Thanksgiving 2012 for our extended family. Cold outside, but the spacious and inviting home was ideal, from watching football on the large screen plasma to coffee in the living room overlooking the lake in the early morning. You will love the large table with a gas fireplace at one end leaving plenty of room for meals and games. No worries for the kitchen, everything you need X 2. 10 minutes to Meijer or Walmart for supplies. Great communication and instructions for arrival and departure from the owner. Don't hesitate on this one.

Our 16 family members (12 adults and 4 kids) had a wonderful time at Crooked Lake Retreat last weekend. Thank you for providing a lovely location for our family to gather and celebrate our parents 50th Anniversary together. The house was very clean and supplied tons of kitchen and various other supplies. There was plenty of room to cook, clean, watch TV, eat, enjoy water sports and just sit and relax. I would definitely suggest this as a terrific option for any family or group to use to get together. There was something for everyone. We wish we could have stayed longer. Again thank you for this opportunity. You can definitely use us as a reference for any future visitors!
