Being able to visit Siena is in itself a beautiful experience, doing so by staying in this farmhouse makes it unforgettable. Everything is perfect, taken care of down to the smallest details ... it seems to really live a Tuscan dream. There is the possibility to take a bath in the pool set in the many colors of a unique campaign in the world, cooking in the kitchen, led by expert advice (if required) of Francesca, who as well as an excellent cook is also an excellent tourist guide. The rustic but refined environments, contribute to make you appreciate even inside the home, the beauty of a unique place. Nothing is left to chance ... The only sin is having to start again sooner or later.

We were a group of 10, there was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The property is well kept and clean. We spent many of our days comfortably lounging by the pool, small but with breathtaking views of the Chianti vineyards . It was heavenly, a dream come true The location of the villa was perfect to visit Siena (5 min drive), hill towns, Florence. We will always treasure the memories we made at Villa il Podere and hope to someday return to this paradise. If I could give this property ten stars, I would! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to rent it.

wow, this place is better than the pictures! it has great views on vineyards, we are in the heart of chianti but in 5 minutes by car (you definitely need a car, but Francesca, the host, will rent you a car at all and with automatic change!!) you will reach Siena. Annalisa and Paolo, the owners are so sweet! the villa is girrgeous and perfectly clean and modern in its confronts, but so typically tuscan in his soul! We love it!

There aren't enough words to describe this stunning house Just 5 mins outside of Siena City center, it's a location that works perfectly for day trips around Tuscany. Having stayed in this villa with 12 of my family members, we visited Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Florence and hill towns. All of these locations are not more tha an hour of the villa and made for the most perfect vacation. It is hands down the best house I have stayed at in Italy. I have been to the Tuscany region many times and have rented similar villas. Trust me when I say this house is top-notch and the best I have ever stayed in. The second you walk in the front door you will be in awe with its beauty. The house is large, sits on an amazing property and can accommodate a huge family. Its pool is not big but it has post card views. Francesca the host, soeacks a very good enghlish and is available for tours and many useful services as the 2 dinners that her and her husband Francesco, prepared for us. We are a family of 5 and we spent a week at Il Podere with some friends: 12 in total!, the place was just wonderful. It was just what we all were looking for. Secluded, but not too far away from things we needed, very close to the city of Siena but quiete, and paceful. The villa has great accommodations, perfect setting, spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds and sofa in front of the fireplace! The biggest villa we have ever found in Europe. We highly recommend it! The mornings as the fog lifted up from the valley below were awesome to see. We highly recommend it!
