DeSoto Golf Course is cart distance away and the DeSoto Trail System, DeSoto Marina, Waypoint Lakeside Restaurant and El Jimador Mexican Restaurant are all easy walking distance (10-15 minutes) The DeSoto Trail follows the shoreline of Lake DeSoto and offers bikers, joggers and walking enthusiasts everything they could ask for...hard surface trails and the fabulous beauty of the Ouachita Forests. Along the way you may see deer, a red-tailed hawk, a turtle or two and lots of wildflowers. You may hear an owl and much conversation among birds in the canopy above.
