SKI-IN, SKI-OUT from our condo to SOLVISTA family ski hill. We hope you will find time to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, only a 20 minute drive from our condo. Stop at GRAND LAKE for live theater and dinner. Other family fun areas are: WINTER PARK ski hill, restaurants, shopping; YMCA SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH, both about 15 minutes from our condo.
Winter: Cross Country & Downhill Skiing, Hiking, snowmobile in the park.
SUMMER/FALL: rafting, golfing, horse back riding, or just relax and read a good book at the pool in the Colorado sunshine.
We have fully Redecorated And Refurnished our condo. The condo has a Master Bedroom Suite, with full bath, a Second Bedroom With Twin Beds, and a three quarter bath with a fantastic 'Steam Shower'. The Living Room has a gas fireplace, Queen Size Sofa Sleeper. The Kitchen is supplied with Everything you will need, Except The Food And The Cook!

Perfect for a weekend away with the family. Place readily slept 5-6 and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessities and was furnished nicely in general. Not exactly ski-in, ski-out, but lodge and runs are within walking distance.

a lovely place to stay, home away from home it was nice to walk into a very clean and warm property. Thankyou Fran for giving us the opportunity to stay here and for your help and concern when we arrived from New Zealand. It has made me think that I too will put our beach house property here in New Zealand on VRBO so that I can give someone else the opportunity to stay and experience the home away from home feel.

The owner was a pleasure to work with and the location was perfect - only Basecamp One is closer to the base ski slopes. For our family of four it was really nice to have two bedrooms and a huge open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The condo was well equipped. After a full day of skiing I just wanted to relax and eat stuff that I wanted to eat when I wanted to eat rather than go out to a restaurant. The nearest grocery store was fully stocked even with organic foods and wild caught fish. Because we live at sea level the altitude really affects us and the steam shower was a huge unexpected bonus! The only difficulty we had was that the WiFi it is extremely slow at the condo (but it was accessible and fast at the ski lodge nearby) and the laundry is not in the unit itself. I really loved Granby to ski and especially the ski instructor we had (Johnny) who basically took us from the bunny hill to difficult blues in two days. Thanks Fran for renting this beautiful place to us. I hope we can come back soon!

Experience with this property was excellent from the very beginning. The homeowner was great with communication, giving directions to the property, and working with our schedule. Our Family Includes 2 little girls ages 6 & 7, both who attended the ski/ride program in Granby Ranch. The program was geared towards the kids and the girls started boarding down the mountain by the 2nd day! What an amazing feeling for a parent, and confidence booster for kids. As frequent travelers, we try our best to seek the same comforts of home, and tend to avoid the BIG resorts, with the long lift lines and congestion. The Granby Ranch area is perfect for the traveler or even local who seeks peace, family time, and great snow. Everything about this condo exceeded our expectations.
