Welcome to our retreat with beautiful mountain views. Perched up on a hill, this home offers privacy, peace, comfort, space and quiet. Located close to skiing at Hunter, Windham and Belleayre, hiking at Kaaterskill Falls and North Lake, great places to eat and go out in Catskill, Saugerties, Woodstock and Hudson. There is a stone fireplace to cozy up to, a bar, wifi, cable with surround sound, ping pong table in the basement, three full bathrooms, a fire pit, a charcoal grill and fully equipped kitchen to make your stay enjoyable and fun. The space

The best part is the location. Sitting on 3.5 acres of land, the house is looking right at the Catskill Mountains. It is close to Hunter and Windham for skiing and all the quant towns near by. We are also close to Hudson which has a lot to offer as far as nightlife, galleries, shopping and restaurants.

This is a unique space, built in the early seventies with special touches from that period. We tried to preserves some authentic spaces, like our bar and fire place rooms, which has oil painting of the original owner.

This house was designed to open itself up to its nature surroundings, with great big windows and plenty of views almost in every room. It's hard to show the view in pictures, but it has been quiet an experience for us to sit and gaze at the mountain, that is always changing.

This home is very spacious, over 3,500 sq. ft. Enough space to get a little lost, have private time and entertain, if you wish.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second floor and if you close the doors, it is super quiet, even if guests are making noise downstairs. The master has its own bathroom, and it also has a little sofa that can be used as an extra bed for a small child unto 10 years old, I would estimate.

The fourth bedroom is on the first floor with a full bath next to it. It's off to the side, so you can still have privacy even if people are hanging out in the main living areas.

The house sits up on the hill, which is great for sledding. We provide sleds in the basement for guests to use.

In the basement, there is also a ping pong table area and a pool table coming soon...

There is also a little path into the woods in the back with a fire pit.

There are two patio areas, one in the back of the house and one on the side of the house. Great in warmer weather, but on a sunny day, it could be great to sit out there.

For the summer time, we have a huge kidney shaped pool with an original painted design by us. Our take on an avant-guard beach scene. It's about 50 feet long and feels like small lake when you are swimming. We have two outdoor tables to sit and enjoy different views, one of the mountain and one of the pool.

This house was built for comfort and pleasure.

One thing to note, the rate is 380 per night, but weekends and holidays are $400 per night, you don't see that unless you try to book. We just wanted to give people a break for weekdays.

Guest access

Guests can access most of the house. There is a ping pong table in the basement. There is also a fourth bathroom down there( that is not listed). The basement is still not finished, but it could be used with caution.
