The house has been carefully furnished to ensure a comfortable and relaxing vacation for couples or families. Fully equipped for a comfortable stay (linens, towels, kitchen supplies, kitchen appliances etc etc). Relax on the deck, the wood burning fireplace or one of the special seating areas located around the property on the walk down to the waterfront. Try fishing or swimming off the rocks, spotting eagles, seals and whales from the deck and waterfront. There are also all the amenities and activities (restaurants, museums, zip-lining, hiking, fishing tours, kayaking tours etc) available in Sooke and Victoria only a short drive away.

What a wonderful stay! The home had everything we needed; the hosts were warm and gracious. Although we had no concerns, I have no doubt that they would have taken care of anything that came up. So much character to the home and the view over the bay is both stunning and tranquil. It was perfect place for my son, from Vancouver, and I (Sturgeon County, Alberta) to get together. The hiking in the area is great. Highly recommend this home to anyone who loves nature and likes an alternative to hotels. I have chemical sensitivities and Jackie, whose philosophies were already environmentally friendly was very attentive to my concerns. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful. Clean. Incredible view. The pictures on VRBO do not adequately portray the quality of this house or the grounds. Pleasantly surprised. Good location. Close to the East Sooke Regional Park and Sooke Potholes. Kid's highlights. Trails and rock climbing. Wish we stayed longer. The path to the water is fairly steep but manageable. The microwave is a classic. Although, I appreciated the challenge of figuring out how to use it. Would pay more for the convenience of having a couple kayaks on the property.
