Our 3 bedroom + private study, 3.5 bath home is surrounded on two sides by a lagoon on beautiful Seabrook Island. Amenities include a 5 person hot tub, ping pong table, canoe and kayak. Seabrook is a private gated community dedicated to maintaining the natural beauty of its live oak and pine canopies, quiet lagoons, tidal marshes and creeks, and pristine dunes and beaches. Yet it is also a premier resort offering two championship golf courses, world class tennis center, equestrian center and private club with dining, fitness and pool facility. A popular activity with the locals is cycling which is both scenic and safe on Seabrook Island. Horseback riding on the beach is available to guests.

Vacation theme:: Our favorite activities are biking along the quiet, well maintained streets circling and crossing the island and either walking or biking along the pristine beaches to watch the dolphins play off shore.

If you are looking for a quiet, but active vacation with your family or friends, this is the rental home for you. The home is new (finished the fall of 2006) and its design was inspired by the noted Southern Living architect, William Poole. With over 3200 square feet of living space plus an additional 1000 square feet of verandas, screened porches and decks, there is ample room for a large family or two smaller families or a number of friends vacationing together.

Description of house:: The spacious great room with its stone fireplace, 55' flat screen HDTV with premium Direct cable TV/DVR service, sound bar plus BlueRay DVD. There is also an upright piano available for you use. The hickory shelving opens to the loft above and the open deck overlooking the lagoon where the Big Green Egg is located. On each side of the deck is a large screened porch. The east porch provides an outdoor dining option and the west porch houses the hot tub.Below this porch is the outdoor shower. Off the great room is the kitchen/dining area.

The kitchen is stunning - granite countertops, hickory cabinetry, DCS 5 burner gas cooktop, convection oven, convection microwave, over size refrigerator with front ice and filtered water dispensers, wine cooler, large double sink, etc. The peninsula and island with its prep sink provide extra work and seating space. The first floor master suite has bedroom with a king bed, a bath with heated floors, double vanity and large shower with dual heads, and walk-in closet. In addition there is a small ancillary bedroom and large connected laundry room.

Upstairs, the east bedroom has a queen bed, huge walk-in closet and private two head shower bath. The large west bedroom has three single beds and one set of bunkbeds. The bedroom has private access to the adjoining bath. The private study has a queen size pullout bed with both memory foam and air mattresses. The west bathroom can also be accessed directly from the loft.

Amenities and equipment available:: Our rental guests have access to all the amenities of the private Seabrook Island Club which includes two championship golf courses (one designed by Robert Trent Jones), 15 Har-Tru tennis courts, two pickleball oourts, equestrian center, Beach Club with its pools, change facilities and snack bar plus Ocean side, bar and formal dining facilities via a complementary amenity card. There is also access to the nearby newly renovated crabbing dock, trails, quiet streets and pristine beaches. Our rental guests also have access to the spectacular new lake side community center with its heated indoor/outdoor pool and extensive fitness facility.

We provide our rental guests with a kayak, inflatable raft and a canoe which can be paddled in the adjacent lagoon. Sail and power boats and kayaks can be rented at the nearby Bohicket Marina. A full size ping pong table, paddles and balls are available to our guests in the lower level. Bikes can be rented at reasonable cost and delivered to your door. One beach cruiser available to guests. Golf packages saving you 20% are available upon request. An exercycle is also available.

We provide a beach cart to carry you gear over the ramps crossing the dunes. A wide variety of beach toys including boogie boards, crab nets, beach umbrellas and chairs are also available to our guests.
