This house was perfect for my small family to stay while we visited family nearby. The house was clean and quiet and had all the amenities that made it feel like an extension of home. When we come back to visit Victoria, we will definitely be looking to stay here again!

The trail to the right of the house leads to a dog exercise spot which was a wonderful blessing to us. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends.

Imagine waking up to bird calls or gently falling rain. This property felt private with the tall trees and small dock set into the tall cattails at the end of the property. The yard is well landscaped, the home is well cared for and has everything one could want. It is charmingly decorated but not fussy. One of our group stated often that she could easily live full time in the house and the yard. This property is a great home base for farther exploration or just a place to put up ones feet and relax.

Our family had a wonderful time on our recent trip to this lake house near Victoria. The house is lovely; everything we needed was easily available, and all of us were very comfortable. This is an unusual place because it combined the comforts of living near the city--where we could easily get to a variety of places in and around Victoria--with the relaxing pleasures of being outdoors. In addition to the lake at the foot of the large back yard, a larger beach and playground were down a lovely wooded path, right next door. Our young grandchildren were elated by that. Janette was very easy to communicate with, pleasant, and thoughtful. Thanks for a lovely time.

All the descriptions and superlatives contained in so many other reviews are true. Janette has made this a hidden gem a most welcoming place. I suppose the best compliment we can make is that we keep coming back; and fully expect to do so in the future. We love it!
