Rest and relaxation is just a short drive north of metro Detroit. Our cottage offers a wooded retreat with Lake Huron access a short walk down a quiet lane, perfect for launching kayaks and canoes although there is no beach. You can soak up the quiet lounging on the front-porch swing or walking the peaceful wooded lane during the day, and enjoy stars and smores around a pleasant campfire in comfortable Adirondack chairs at night.

The location offers endless possibilities for day-tripping around MIchigan's thumb. It's an easy half mile bike ride to Wagener Park which offers trails, a playground, and a boat launch. Harbor Beach, only five miles away, offers sandy beaches, lighthouse tours, walking/biking trails, parks, fishing, quaint shopping, a farmers' market, and restaurants.

Port Austin and Caseville are a 35-40 minute drive up the shoreline where you can partake in additional festivals and beaches.

Nine will sleep comfortably in three bedrooms. There is also an air mattress available, therefore the cottage can sleep 11. There is a queen in the first-floor master. Upstairs, there is a queen bed and twin bed in the blue room and a queen and a twin with a trundle bed in the large bedroom. A newly remodeled exterior, new kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, Roku TV, and wireless internet make this secluded retreat feel updated, comfortable, and convenient.
