Overlook Guesthouse is a spacious and newly re-decorated one bedroom which was the original farm residence and part of a larger building containing a garage and Ron's play space with wood and metal working tools. All who see it think it is charming and surprising. There is a large fenced yard and patio.
Overlook Guesthouse is located on 10 private and gated acres which is home to Overlook Driving Center, a place for the training and competition of modern carriage driving horses. We would be happy to offer you a ride and some interaction with our horses is available. If you have your own horses, we invite you to bring them. They can be stabled on the property.
This property is in a quiet neighborhood of 10 acre properties, which is virtually surrounded by vineyards. The location is convenient for visiting the area cities and attractions, while maintaining a truly country atmosphere. Over 100 wineries are within touring distance, as well as many fine restaurants, parks and beaches.
This guesthouse is a good choice for those who want a quiet and private location for work or rest. Ron and Linda, your hosts, will do all we can to customize your stay to your pleasure.

I’m going home so relaxed and happy. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The guest unit was stocked with everything you could ever want or need. The dogs loved the fenced yard, but loved roaming the farm with the three resident dogs even more. Linda and Ron couldn’t be nicer but very respectful of our privacy. Linda gave us a tour of the property and introduced us to all of the animals. I mentioned that I would love to go for a carriage ride and yesterday I got to go! If you have dogs a want a wonderful place to stay, don’t hesitate to stay here!
We enjoyed our two night stay. (Don't follow GPS directions--you will get lost and end up in the middle of a nearby vineyard!) The one bedroom home is on the large property of the owners who are generally home and very friendly and will help with whatever you need. The house is full of eclectic furnishings and has a sort of general horse theme as the owners train and ride carriage horses. You can walk around and visit all the animals and the views are lovely. It is far from the town (15 minutes to Paso Robles, maybe) so bring your groceries when you arrive. But it is located directly on the popular Creston Wine Trail and there are many local wineries to visit. We brought our dog who had a great time feeling free and running around and playing with the owner's dogs too. We also liked that the home is handicapped accessible and equipped with hand grips in the shower and in general flat all around for our needs. One day we would like to go back again!
The hosts were very friendly and our two dogs loved it there meeting their animals and playing on their 10 acres. It was just a few minute drive to Paso Robles and the fresh eggs Linda gave us were an added special treat.
I love the property, the peacefulness and the proprietors! Its great for a weekend couple getaway and has everything you will need. We will be back!
We loved staying at Ron and Linda's guest house! It was so homey and they had everything we needed plus more! They were extremely welcoming to us and our pup (even after he had a little too much fun chasing after one of the chickens). It's a great spot for a family or small group of friends so relax after a long day of wine tasting. Thank you both, we can't wait to come back!
