It's an authentic, secluded, non-smoking (in/out) luxurious log cabin house, newly/fully furnished with all the amenities of a home at 11,000 feet elevation. We have beautiful views with a wrap around deck overlooking 7.25 forested acres of private property, complete with hiking trails, picnic grounds and lots of areas to explore. It's located 20-25 mins from/to Breckenridge. There are restaurants, a grocery store, hardware store, winery, brewery, gift shops and much more to see in the nearby town of Fairplay. Alma is mins away as well. This property offers you a "true" Rocky Mountain getaway. Also to note, travelers can avoid the hectic I-70 Hwy. and take scenic Hwy. 285 to hwy. 9. We are close to prime fishing and hiking locations and tours are available in the immediate area. During the summer enjoy barbecues on the deck with a brand new patio dining set along with two oversize rattan chairs/cushions, extra chairs and beverage tables to take in the breathtaking views!
We supply all main hygiene products, spices, condiments, culinary tools and supplies necessary for a gourmet dinner and/or exquisite dessert.
An external rental agreement will need to be signed and returned at least two weeks prior to check in. Each rental agreement is tailored to fit each guest as we indicate names, details and rates of that particular season.

4WD/AWD mandatory during the Winter Snow Season (Nov-April) and it sometimes snows in May (chains as well!). All Colorado mountain homes require this and it's a state law to be prepared with these resources on Hwy. 285 and Hwy. I-70.
We highly suggest cans of oxygen to be purchased at the store if you are from sea level or not used to high elevation.
Age requirement to must be 27 or older.

We traveled here in Mid February with extended family. We had 6 adults and 4 children. It was perfect! There’s plenty of space for everyone to sprawl out and seek privacy, while still offering large gathering spaces for time together. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked, the space was very clean, and they provide everything to make it feel like home! Kim and her husband respond to questions within minutes and made sure we were happy and comfortable throughout our stay. Although, this cabin is only minutes from FairPlay the scenery is absolutely breathtaking and feels very secluded. We enjoyed ourselves so much we hope to visit again in the spring!

Our family stayed in Cabin Del Sol Feb 23-24- we had a wonderful stay, and the cabin was just as described. It was very comfortable, spacious, and well stocked with any supplies we could have ever needed! And what a beautiful setting- absolute gorgeous views from this cabin! Our bedrooms were comfortable, nice linens, towels, etc. We did fix some meals here also, and I was impressed with the kitchen and everything available for our use. It has a nice loft with TV, and downstairs a rec room with pingpong table; we actually ended up spending all of our extra time in the main floor living room enjoying the fireplace and visiting, though. They had a lot of firewood available for our use. Families with kids will have a great time here. It was within a nice driving distance from the other places we visited- Breckenridge and Keystone Resort. The owner was very good at responding quickly for any questions also. One word of advice- when they say you need chains on tires or 4 wheel drive, they aren't kidding! haha We had some problems with our car rental place and ended up not having a 4 wheel drive vehicle- we tried but couldn't make it up the road inclines, so had to go back to Fairplay and get some chains. After that, had no problem. Thank Kim, for your hospitality and for sharing your vacation home with us!

Had a wonderful stay in this luxurious welcoming cabin. Great for all ages, big and small groups. We fit 8 very comfortably and had an absolute blast. The cabin had everything we needed, from cooking utensils and toiletries to sleds for some outdoor fun. Really looking forward to coming back, overall great experience.
