This high comfort ,contemporary house is ready to welcome you and let you relax and enjoy the view. The only thing between you and the Pacific Ocean is an easy less than five minute walk across the low dunes.

Located in a quiet, gated community that's five miles from Seaside and 14 miles from both Cannon Beach and Astoria, there is nothing to keep you from maximizing the return on your "down time" - or giving you the quiet you need to write the next great American novel. If you need stores or supplies to replenish what you brought with you, Costco and Fred Meyer are in Warrenton - which is less than ten miles to the north. Astoria, Seaside and Cannon Beach all have a large selection of specialty stores - including bakeries and breweries - if there's something special you need.

Inside you'll find a big screen TV with a huge selection of DVD's along with a computer and WI-Fi to keep you connected. Outside, behind the large and spacious deck (which will keep you out of the wind) you'll find the 8th tee of the Highlands Golf Course in the backyard and if you're lucky, you'll see the local herd of elk.

The fully equipped kitchen features a gas cook top with a new oven and microwave. A huge island provides plenty of prep' space with room for your quality checkers to hang out nearby.

The living room has a two story high vaulted ceiling and a gas fireplace makes it easy to relax when it's cool or cloudy outside. The large comfy couches and chairs will make it hard for you to get going once you settle into them.

The bedrooms all feature brand new, high end mattresses with "snug-as-a-bug" bedding. The laundry room is equipped with a commercial duty washer and dryer..

The two car garage has a pair of bicycles so you can go peddling and it offers full shelter when you are coming and going.

This is a true two story house with a half-floor of steps required to get to the living level. Entry and exit is not difficult but if you have trouble negotiating stairs please examine the pictures carefully.

Property Rules

1. The Rentee must be at least 25 years old.
2. No more than eight (8) people can stay overnight in the house. Up to two additional guests can stay if they have been preapproved by the Rentor prior to occupancy. There cannot be more than four (4) additional visitors on the property at any time.
3. Visitors may not be in the house when the Rentee and/or their guests are not present.
4. The Rentee agrees to ensure they, and all guests and visitors, will use the house and all contents in a proper and responsible manner.
5. The Rentee further agrees to accept full responsibility for the proper and responsible use of the house and all contents and to pay all costs associated with damage, breakage or loss that occurs while they are renting the house or as a direct result of their rental of the house per the terms stated in the Rental Agreement.
6. There can be no more than four (4) cars parked at the house at any time.
7. Pets are allowed only if preapproved by the Rentor prior to occupancy.
8. The only place smoking is permitted on the premises is in the Rentees, guests or visitors vehicle(s). Butts must be disposed of properly.
9. Rentee agrees to ensure the house is properly locked and secured at any time it is not occupied by the Rentee and/or their guests.
NOTICES
1. As this is a property located in a very wet climate, Rentee acknowledges they have been informed of the potential danger of slippery steps going into the house.
2. The Rentor is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Rentor is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
3. Rentee understands they are responsible for their own day-to-day cleaning and laundry.

Relaxing Beach House

This home is quite beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet, and walking to the beach is very convenient. The view was wonderful. The house felt tranquil and relaxing. There was plenty of room for a group of 8 (3 teenagers, 3 grandparents, 2 parents, and a dog!). No one felt cramped, and there were 2 tables to play games on throughout the weekend. The kitchen had most everything we needed, including a waffle iron, and hand mixer! Many of the rental homes that took pets looked very questionable, but this was beyond my expectations. We would definitely stay here again.

This house is fantastic!!

My husband and I stayed with 2 other couples for the weekend. When we walked into the house we where pleasantly surprised about how much bigger it is in person, how welcoming it is and the great room is perfect for a group of friends to just hang out and visit. Absolutely beautiful home

Our family recently stayed in this home and it was more beautiful in person, than it was by the lovely pictures that were taken for advertising. The views were amazing. We were lucky enough to have some nice storms come through and some sunshine. The floor to ceiling, large fireplace, was very cozy to wake up to in the morning and for those times of storms in the area. This home is beautifully decorated and has a very warm, family feel to it. Our family loved it and we will definitely be back. We were also pleasantly surprised that this home has a BBQ grill on the back patio out of the wind, as we enjoy grilling year round. Thank you Bonnie for the communication and allowing our family to enjoy your gorgeous home.

A lovely retreat

This is a lovely, well kept home that offers a great deal. It's good to be there, rain or shine. We had a lot of rain, so unfortunately could not walk out to the beach. The house allows access to the garage, so one can pack/unpack in the garage, out of the rain. Astoria and surrounding area is a short drive, with lots to offer. And Cannon Beach is not out of the question. We look forward to returning.
