The high-ceilinged living room, with its kiva fireplace (firewood provided!), and 7+ foot high windows flanking the fireplace, is a beautiful, comfortable gathering area for any variety of activities: warming up by the mesmerizing fire, gazing out at the breathtaking Taos scenery, challenging your fellow guests to cards or board games, or simply relaxing in front of the wide-screen television.

Taos Villa 8’s gourmet kitchen (open to the living area) seamlessly incorporates stainless steel appliances with the varied ornamental touches that grace this entire Taos vacation rental property. Major appliances include a French door refrigerator with a lower freezer drawer, a gas oven and four-burner stovetop, and a dishwasher. This well-equipped kitchen includes a microwave oven, and even an under-counter wine fridge! In addition to a toaster and numerous other handy appliances and kitchen gadgets, we have included a drip coffee maker and a blender so you can make your choice of favorite beverages. You’ll be able to prepare and serve delicious meals, as we provide plenty of dishware, utensils, glassware, serving dishes, pots, pans, baking dishes and more. The large counter-height center island, with two counter-height barstools) is the perfect spot to sit and watch the chef at work, or to turn toward the living area to join in the fun there.

We also provide what we feel is practically a “necessity” for any Taos vacation rental property: a propane gas grill, complete with propane and special grilling tools…. so you can enjoy the Taos weather as you BBQ your favorite foods! The indoor dining area overlooks the private, walled patio where you will find the BBQ grill. There is also an outdoor dining area so if weather permits, you can breathe in the clean Taos air as you enjoy your culinary creations.

The Master bedroom, located on the second floor, features a King bed, ceiling fan and an enormous walk-in closet. The Master suite has an en suite bath, complete with large soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. (There is even a small balcony accessible from this Master bath!) Through French doors in the Master bedroom, you have access to a vast furnished balcony with a kiva fireplace. There is a smaller second bedroom on the second floor, which features a Queen bed. This second bedroom boasts two balconies and plenty of windows, plus a ceiling fan to circulate the air. The second upstairs bath has a walk-in shower.

Located on the ground floor, the spacious third bedroom includes a King bed and, once again, a ceiling fan. French doors lead directly out onto the enclosed private patio. Relax in the outdoor seating area consisting of a loveseat, two chairs and a coffee table.
