Paradise
Located on Galveston Island in the quiet neighborhood of Bermuda beach, away from the crowds. A Short 10 minutes to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbaun, 15 minutes to Pleasure Pier and 20 minutes to the Strand. Paradise is situated with an open lot on each side for privacy and permanent green space in front for easy access to the beach. We have unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico, the sunset, the sunrise and even the causeway on a clear day. Enjoy them any time of the year. We showcase the incredibly spacious and relaxing hot tub on the lower patio. Come for a soak and enjoy the view.
Construction
Built like most beachfront homes in Galveston, it sits on 17 foot pilings. We have a manicured yard for the kids to run around and play. All the outside windows are protected with storm shutters, which also serve as blackout shades. The newest renovation is a brand-new, central air conditioning. We are best suited for families with children. We sleep 10 in beds with another 4 in the 2 queen sleeper sofas. Inside it is tastefully decorated with bright colors and accented with Tiffany lamps, oil on canvas paintings, island pottery, wood carvings, and a seashell collection from around the world.
Arrival
We are available for all the questions you may have before leaving your home or during your stay. We have managed all of our properties ourselves over the last 10 years. Our first house (BG’s Sandcastle) was featured in Best Life magazine. We also have a Vacation rental in Sayulita, Mexico (vrbo.com/326903).
Check-in is at 4 PM.
Check out is at 11AM.

Hot Tub and Lower patio
The lower patio includes a built-in picnic table, comfortable patio furniture, and a charcoal barbecue grill.
Rinse off in your private, outdoor shower, equipped with hot/cold water and soap dispenser. Follow the steam to the 8 person hot tub with countless jets and a decorative light. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy, as you have a private, yet unobstructed view to the ocean. Paradise is enjoyable year round.
The hot tub is emptied, sanitized, and refilled before every guest. The hot tub has a lift and a custom cover to keep it protected from the sand. For your safety there are handrails and a ceiling fan to circulate the breeze that comes through the privacy walls.
Main level
The expansive first deck patio is great for sunning and relaxing. Plenty of room for several to do Yoga. Comfortable deck furniture and lounge chairs are located on this first deck.

We offer cable, free Wi-Fi and a house phone.
First Floor
We have an open floor plan including the kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless steel dishwasher and sink, glass cooktop, microwave, and side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. It's overstocked with cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, pots, pans and a wide range of small appliances.
Dining has seating for eight at the table and four at the kitchen counter. Spacious area with great views of the water. The living area has a leather loveseat, recliner and a queen sleeper sofa. Enjoy cable TV on the 42 inch flat screen with surround sound.
The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, ceiling fan, flat screen TV with DVD player. Inside the closet you will find blankets, an iron and an ironing board and luggage rack.
The bunk room has two sets of bunks, each have a twin over a full bed. It has a ceiling fan, television, VCR with over 40 Disney movies, PlayStation with games, boogie boards, board games, two booster chairs and a Pack and Play crib(available on request).
The bathroom on this level has a combination shower/tub, sink and toilet, high quality bath towels and a hairdryer.
Upper-level
Upstairs is a two room-quad with a private bathroom and kitchenette. One area has a king size bed, ceiling fan, TV with DVD player and our personal library with over 50 books about Galveston.
The adjacent living suite has a leather love seat, big chair and queen sleeper sofa. Complete with a 42”flat screen television, DVD and its own dedicated closet for guests. It has an expansive view of the greenspace, beach, and Gulf of Mexico. It opens into the covered second floor balcony- complete with the very comfortable two loveseats, two chairs and two ottomans. We have an abundance of pillows and Mexican blankets to curl up with.
The kitchenette is great for extra serving convenience, morning or night. It has a small microwave, stainless bar sink, small refrigerator, coffee pot and blender.
Washer/dryer is housed on this floor.
The bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower, bath towels and hairdryer.

Great view and perfect distance from downtown Galveston

We had a wonderful time at the beach house. it had everything that we needed and more.. it was so nice to sit on the porch early mornings and see the sun rise and the ocean. It was only a few steps to the beach. My family had an awesome time. We are already looking forward to next summer.

Property is really nice, freshly decorated, and has everything you need. I've stayed in other properties in Galveston and this is very reasonably priced for the money. Convenient beach access, a hot tub, shuttered windows, close to the Seawall, and owners easy to work with. I will definitely return.

Our family had a fantastic stay at BG paradise. Ken and Brenda were the best owners we have worked with. Their communication was excellent and they were always available via email or text for questions and updates. The house was perfect for our family with an upstairs suite as well as two bedrooms on the first floor. The house included everything you could possibly need. It was just like home. And the view of the gulf was fantastic. We loved sitting on the top deck in the morning with our coffee and watching the sunrise and listening to the waves. We highly recommend this property on Galveston beach. It's a nice distance away from the crowded area, but an easy drive to all the restaurants and activities. Ken and Brenda, thanks for allowing us to stay in your home. We hope to make this an annual family visit, so we will be back.
