The condo has had a full remodel and tastefully redecorated in contemporary, but still Hawaiian style. The biggest and nicest kitchen in the whole complex. The dream kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, island/eating bar, lots of counter space and fully stocked with everything but your groceries. The master bedroom having a Queen bed and the second bedroom having 2 twin beds makes it perfect for families. Also, a Queen pull-out sofa sleeper in the living room makes the unit able to sleep up to 6 persons. Both bathrooms have large tiled shower and granite countertops. The only ground floor unit with 2 full bathrooms in the complex. Large TV, cable, DVD player, free wifi, air conditioner. Stocked with beach towels, beach chairs and coolers for your use, this condo has all the comforts you feel at home with ultimate vacation luxury also. 1000+ sq. feet including lanai.
The tiled lanai has lounging chairs,a patio table and chairs and has a very private feel but is still open to the beautiful lush gardens of the complex. Take a few steps to the right and you are at the pool. Lounge chairs surround the pool and a BBQ, ice machine and covered seating area to one side for relaxing, outdoor eating, and visiting. Approximately 60 steps in the other direction puts you oceanfront. The oceanfront deck is a wonderfully warm gathering place to visit and watch the whales and sunsets. NOTE: Maui Sands is oceanfront, not beachfront. The ocean entrance is rocky, not sandy. However, sandy beaches are very close by some within walking distance (1 block north or 2 blocks south) and others a short drive away.
2 BBQ areas are on the property and a coin operated laundry is only a few steps from the door. Large grass areas for the kids to play, this property is family friendly, yet still very peaceful and quiet.
Within walking distance is a grocery store, natural food store, farmers market, coffee shops, restaurants, spa, shops and much more. Beaches to the north and south. Golf courses close by. A beautiful walking/jogging pathway through the Ka'anapali area has fabulous scenery for miles. We love to go for a beautiful long walk every morning! Whalers Village is near by with lots of shops, restaurant/bars, and lovely beach. Only a 10 minute drive is our favourite town, Lahaina. It is such a lovely historic town with lots to see and do. It seems to come alive at night and you absolutely must visit Lahaina.

Don’t let the older exterior fool you... once you open the front door the interior is very comfortable and modern. It was equipped with everything we needed. The location is near all essentials with Times Market right down the street. Diane was wonderful! We had a minor problem which she immediately addressed. Communication with her was great and my family and I couldn’t have been happier. I highly recommend this Maui Sands rental!

The unit is on the ground floor and the designated parking space is literally 20 feet away from the front door. Super convenient. Updated bathrooms and kitchen, great showers, fans and a/c in both bedrooms and the main room, private lanai, very reasonable pricing, we'll be back! Lots of extras too.. coolers, boogie boards, sand toys for kids, kitchen things, and no sugar ants to speak of, which can be an issue in this complex. Very easy in and out to explore the island is key!

The property was just as expected. A perfect paradise getaway. Everything we needed for beach adventures were supplied. Would recommend renting snorkel gear if you are planning to do a lot of snorkeling as some of the masks do not seal well. We really enjoyed being able to park right outside the front door and walk into this ground floor unit. The lanai was a perfect place to relax and enjoy our evening meals from. The property grounds were well maintained and a pleasure to stroll through. Diane is excellent to work with and responded right back when notified about the issue we had with the refrigerator. The one negative was that our adult children got warm overnight in the guest bedroom. This would not stop us from returning as everything else was top notch. Thank-you, Diane for providing this paradise retreat for our family to enjoy.

We loved the condo and location. We have two small children and the condo was accommodating with pack n play and sand toys. We would stay there again and recommend family and friends to stay there.
