The space
Dog door leads to a large fenced yard with sun & shade. Forest Hill Park (next door) connects directly to James River Park. The two parks have wild trails; paved paths around a lake; river access with rafting/tubing/sunbathing/rock-hopping; bird-watching; playground. House has fully equipped kitchen; sun room with dvd projector for warmer weather; Netflix and wireless. Within 3/4 mile is neighborhood cafe with good coffee, beer, pastries, and ice cream; several good restaurants; local foods market; drugstores. Within short drive are the city's best restaurants, Bowtie Cinema and Byrd Theater, and downtown cultural events. Summertime presents music festivals and more.
