Looking for a charming Adirondack camp with a spectacular lakefront setting? Camp Wiabatha is located on Markham Point, off of a 3 mile unpaved road at the northern end of Upper Saranac Lake. The entrance road takes you through one of the most beautiful, unspoiled areas of the lake and is surrounded by forever wild Adirondack land. Relax on the camp decks enjoying the spectacular lake views, listen to loons, nap in the hammock, build a campfire in the stone fire pit, swim, kayak, canoe, and wander out onto the sandbar from the private sandy beach. Or enjoy the views from inside while dining at the Adirondack-style family table or playing games in the upstairs game room. Our location offers a wide variety of activities for outdoor adventures. It is a short distance from the Saranac Inn boat launch and golf course and 25 minutes to the Village of Saranac Lake and the Adirondack Carousel. An easy drive to Tupper Lake Wild Center and Lake Placid and countless hiking areas for all levels. Our very special and tasteful Adirondack style camp is available for limited weeks in July and September. We encourage those who would like to rent for 2 weeks to inquire about reduced rates. Absolutely no smokers.
