Our Condo offers a value vacation just steps from the warm Atlantic Ocean. Located on the quiet and picturesque north end of Amelia Island, the condo is two blocks from one of the top ten beaches in the country and only minutes (2 miles) from historic downtown Fernandina Beach. In a great neighborhood with mostly beach houses, sand dunes and a large natural beach - no high-rise condos! With Fort Clinch State Park to the West and North, The Ocean to the East, this means no thru traffic only locals, keeping this North end of the island very quiet. Enjoy the beach without the higher costs of beachfront rentals. Fits your budget for a beach vacation without the seaside prices. Our Amelia Island Condominium is a relaxing beach getaway. Sit outside on your balcony and relax after a fun filled day in the Florida sun. Bring your binoculars; the North end of the Island is home to many birds, rabbits and deer that are comfortable leisurely grazing around.
The condominium is on the the second floor with a private entrance that gives you a little extra breathing room and privacy compared to most of the units in the complex. Our condo is approximately 1,000 sq ft in size, with a clean, spacious floor plan in the living room and dining area. The living area has very comfortable seating, a 55” flat-screen and is ideal for watching movies, napping, curling up with your favorite book or just enjoying the company of friends and family. The dining area is perfect for meals, board games, or solving puzzles. This condo does have cable TV and High Speed Internet.
With two bedrooms and one full bath. The large master bedroom has a queen-size bed and walk in closet. The newly refurbished bathroom with a tub shower, sink, and toilet. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds. The balcony directly off the living/dining area is facing East towards the natural area of Fort Clinch State Park. Bed linens, bath linens and beach towels are furnished for your use while staying at the condo.
The well-appointed kitchen adds to the convenience and affordability of your beach vacation. Major appliances, including dishwasher, refrigerator and stove with oven as well as a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. There are pots and pans for cooking and baking, dishes, glassware, and utensils, right down to the potholders, dishtowels, and salt and pepper. The unit also has a laundry closet with a stackable washer and dryer. The unit also has 4 beach chairs and cooler with wheels to help improve your beach day
The complex tennis court and swimming pool are available for your enjoyment and are just down the sidewalk from our unit.
A few blocks down the road is the popular Main Beach, which has lifeguards on duty during the summer, covered gazebos on the boardwalk, and an adjoining park with a beachfront children's playground, two sand volleyball courts, basketball, public restrooms, and mini-golf at Fernandina’s Putt-Putt. The Fernandina Beach Skate Park at Main Beach is open to the public daily with a variety of ramps and other obstacles for skateboarders, inline skaters, scooter riders, and roller skaters. Helmets are required.
Considered by many as one of Florida's best well guarded secrets, Amelia Island is known for its 13 miles of beautiful and tranquil beaches. Amelia Island's beaches are perfect for sunning, relaxing, swimming, walking, shelling, and building sand castles. For the more active - go hiking, biking, birding, snorkeling/diving, boating, surfing, windsurfing, para sailing, jet skiing, or kayaking. Golf at one of our local courses. Go surf fishing on the beach, in the salt marshes along the river or on the half-mile fishing pier at Fort Clinch Park.
Fort Clinch State Park bordering the condominium, one of the most well preserved 19th century forts in the country, a living pre-civil war landmark that offers tours and re-enactments of life in the mid 1800’s. Hikers and bicyclists can enjoy a six-mile trail through the park. There are bicycle rental concessions on the island, and miles of paved and off-road paths to explore.
You can watch the gorgeous sunsets at the downtown Fernandina Beach Harbor Marina while watching the shrimp boats come in and the fisherman weigh their catch for the day. For the history buff, stroll through the quaint, seaport of downtown Fernandina Beach that is 40 blocks of historic homes, amazing architecture and businesses. Explore the towns shopping and galleries. There are plenty of museums and cinemas for rainy-day amusement. At Talbot Island is one of the few beaches in Florida where you can go Horseback riding on the beach.
