Adorable 2 bedroom 2 bathroom oceanfront condo in the heart of town, close to tons of shopping, dining, and attractions. The resort is set on an amazing stretch of beach - uncrowded and with gorgeous views and FANTASTIC OCEANFRONT AMENITIES including 2 LAZY RIVERS (one on the rooftop!) and 3 POOLS.
It's the perfect place to relax, and you're still right in the middle of all that Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach has to offer. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, SkyWheel, and Broadway at the Beach are all 5 minutes or less to the south, while Restaurant Row, Tanger Outlets, Myrtle Beach Mall, and Barefoot Landing are all within 5 minutes to the north. With such a great central location, you can be nestled away while still a stone's throw from entertainment, nightlife, and even live theater!

Our Place (Villa 1222):
With flat screen TVs, DVD player, and complimentary high speed wireless internet (WI-FI), you can easily stay connected and entertained throughout your stay. An oversized balcony beckons the majestic Atlantic and offers breathtaking ocean views. Enjoy your afternoons sipping a cold cocktail, sitting back, relaxing, and watching the waves roll in! This unit also has an open floor plan - perfect for mingling - and a washer and dryer in-unit to make laundry a breeze. Our villa is both inviting and well maintained, making it the perfect home for your next beach vacation.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Master bedroom features king bed, fantastic ocean views, a private bath, and private balcony access. The second bedroom is quite spacious and features 2 queen beds while using the large hall bath at the villa entrance. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room as an additional sleeping area.
Minimum renter age of 25, no pets allowed in resort (except for owners, resort rule), and no smoking allowed.

The location was awesome and literally right on the beach. It was nice to walk right onto the beach and have a lot of restaurants and activities nearby There was a really cool park close by that the toddlers loved, Savannah's Playground. The two most frustrating/ negatives aspects of the trip were the check-in and the indoor pool was closed, which was a major reason why we chose to rent this property. I am new to vrbo and vacation rentals so it wasn't as simple as I expected. Also, the property owner wasn't as accessible as I hoped. We eventually drove to the key drop box 20 min away and had to go back to the front desk to get the key activated. When we went to the front desk, I looked into the indoor pool area and saw it was covered with plywood and there was a notice on the desk stating it was closed. It was extremely frustrating and annoying because we chose this rental so the toddlers would have the indoor pool to play in. We would have liked some forewarning, especially since we booked it only about a month before our stay. Overall though, we had a lot of fun and it was a great trip!

Place was just as pictured. We had a few issues but the folks at Carolina Palms were quick to resolve them. The Grand Shores resort itself was a little older than I expected but overall it was a good stay. Great location which was not far from attractions. Proximity to the beach...steps away...was awesome!

My girls and grandsons had a grand time overall. The condo was well equipped, the movies were available at any time and the weather was beautiful overall. Conveniently located and it felt like home for the week. We all miss it already and we just returned home tonight. A big thank you to the property and staff. We're already planning next years' vacation.
