Two bedrooms (queen and full beds) and a full bath are upstairs with kitchen, family room, fireplace, and a screened-in upper deck with lovely view of the lake. The downstairs has an additional sleeping area with bunk beds, a laundry room (washer and dryer), and a second family room with a large sectional, second fireplace, and TV. There are large windows on both levels giving you a view of the woods and lake. Board games, puzzles, toys, and DVD collection are plentiful. Lower level opens to a deck which leads to a campfire area and path to lake. The wooded lot has swing, picnic table, two fire pit areas, and an outdoor grilling area with a charcoal grill. The steep drive can pose a challenge for some, but parking is available at the top of the driveway.


This is a very peaceful setting and a great place to get away, alone or with family. Nolin Lake is a reservoir lake, which lowers lake levels in the winter. All docks will be on dry land (mid October through April). However, this home is on a large pool of the lake and is always waterfront with a lake view. Fishing is good all year. Wax Marina is only a few miles away and open year round.

Bring your jet skis or boat. Nolin Lake Estates boat ramp is just around the corner and Wax Marina is close by with boats available for rent.

The house is about an hour and half drive from Louisville, 45 minutes from Elizabethtown, KY, and 45 minutes from Mammoth Cave.
