Located on Rockford's far-east side and convenient to everything! CherryVale Mall, restaurants, a grocery store, Magic Waters & I-90/39. UTC & Chrysler are 5 mins away. Other major corporations are less than 20 mins from the apt. Rockford Univ. and OSF St. Anthony Hospital are 10 mins away. 15 mins to downtown Rockford historic/cultural sites. A car is essential to getting around in the Rockford area. There is Über and the Rockford Mass Transit bus stops at CherryVale Mall. There's a walking and bike path that hooks up with the Cherry Valley Park District path adjacent to the property. There's also a Tesla charging station located in the CherryVale Mall parking lot. The Van Galder Bus Co. terminal is 5 mins away with hourly service to O'Hare airport. The Chicago/Rockford International Airport is 15 mins away. The closest Metra train station with service to downtown Chicago is 30 mins away in Elgin via I-90.

We provide a cozy yet spacious apartment with plenty of room to spread out. There's lots of closet and storage space for longer term stays. A full eat-in kitchen has brand new appliances and a quirky little feature that we will point out when you come to stay. The bathroom's shower has plenty of hot water and there's a supply of toiletries and fluffy towels. Both bedrooms have dresser space and very comfy beds with brand new memory foam mattresses and quality linens. There's very fast wireless internet and a dedicated work area with a secretary's desk. The large living room has a small dining area, a fireplace (non-functioning) and a sectional sofa to stretch-out on and watch your favorite streaming tv shows and movies. On a nice summer night, open up the screens in the sun porch, relax and enjoy your favorite beverage or have a barbecue with the provided gas grill. We have almost 2 years of hosting experience with another property and have proudly maintained our premier status. Our goal is to anticipate our guest's every need for the best HomeAway experience ever!

We can't emphasize enough how convenient this location is! This is on the outskirts of Rockford, technically in Cherry Valley, IL. So close to everything anyone would need— a great bar & grill (Drink), a pizza place, a Chinese restaurant, a wine and cigar shop, a pack & ship store and a dry cleaner with drop-off laundry service for $1.50/lb. Walgreen's, TGI Fridays, Granite City Brewery, Eggsclusive Cafe and Kegel's—the world's oldest Harley-Davidson dealership with a great diner for breakfast and lunch (and there's always a classic Harley on display). Several fast food places are all in the immediate vicinity as well as a 24 hour Schnuck's grocery store. Finally there is Cherry Vale Mall, a major regional mall—with Macy's, Sears, Bergner's, H&M, Barnes & Noble, a food court and over 130 stores. Charming and historic downtown Cherry Valley is 5 mins away with even more restaurants and bars, a post office and nice little laundry mat. A brand-new 24 hour YMCA opened just minutes away on the corner of Perryville and Newburg Roads for those that would like to get a workout in. In addition to the things that are listed nearby, Mercyhealth Sportscore II, Indoor Sports Facility and the new Mercy Hospital Campus are 15 minutes away. Rock Cut State Park is 20 minutes away. For being in the middle of everything, you'll find the apartment amazingly quiet and private.

Families are welcome but we will require a security deposit for children under 12. As stated, the apartment accommodates 6 people comfortably. 4 in the bedrooms and up to 4 more in the Living Room area with some minor reconfiguring. The sectional sofa can sleep one adult or 2 children. A queen and twin sized Aerobed can be provided for a supplemental charge of $25 after 4 guests or should someone want their own bed. One should also note that for larger groups, there is only 1 bathroom and it is on the small side. Please inquire for special sleeping arrangements.
