Welcome to lovely waterview"Restawhile" cottage at Red Bay Ontario on the Bruce Peninsula (Red Bay is approximately 15 minutes north of Sauble Beach and north west of Wiarton. Red Bay is a family oriented vacation area with a nice sand beach and shallow, warm entrance into the water. This is a special place for children. They will delight in the shallow, sand entry and warm water(no undertow) and no rocks or stones to hurt their feet. The swimming is excellent-crystal, clear water and sand bottom. There is also playground equipment that children will enjoy . Nearby is a creek where there are frogs. Also there is a long dock and at the end of it is a bench where you can sit and watch children enjoying the water and many boats going by. Due to the fluctuating water levels in Lake Huron,website photographs of the beach may not show the correct shoreline position.

"Restawhile" is a three bedroom cottage situated on property that gradually slopes towards the beach and water. It is approximately 50 yards to the beach and water and there are no cottages between Restawhile" and the water. Shade trees and fencing on the property give you privacy.
The cottage has a fully equipped modern kitchen -large electric refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils and ample cupboards and preparation space.
The bathroom is a four piece-tub with shower,basin and toilet-Also, there are full laundry facilities-full size washer and dryer Why go to town to do your laundry when you can be enjoying the sun and water at Red Bay?

There are 3 bedrooms- 1 bedroom has a comfortable double bed, large windows and a clothes closet, a second bedroom has a comfortable double bed, dresser, large window and ceiling fan. and the 3rd bedroom has a comfortable single bed ,dresser, large window and ceiling fan.

The spacious living room with warm, pine ceiling has plenty of room for everyone to relax on easy chairs or chesterfield.Here you can play games, watch satellite TV, DVD movies or read from the large selection of books. A large dining-room table seats 5 comfortably and from the window you get a partial view of the beach and water. There is a spacious 30x10 ft. deck leading from the living-room and on the deck you can enjoy the view of the water. If you want to you can move to the yard, cook your meal on the barbecue and eat at the picnic table.

After dinner you may want to watch the twinkling stars in the dark, night sky , roast marshmallows on your own fire pit or take a 2 minute walk to the beach where you can view one of Red Bay's world famous sunsets.

The maximum number of people in the cottage is 5. There is a $200.00 refundable security /cleaning deposit. If the cottage and barbecue are left clean, no damages and the cottage and yard are left in the same condition as you find them the security/cleaning deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days of your departure from the cottage. There is no additional tax or insurance fee so there are no hidden charges. Checking in time is 3:00-4:30 p.m.. and checking out time is 11:30 a.m. On your arrival please come to 96 Symon Avenue to register and get the key. The minimum time to rent the cottage is one week .Thanks.

.INCLUDED IN YOUR RENT are: Propane for the barbecue, storage and pick up of garbage.The owner is at Red Bay in the summer and can be contacted in minutes if help is required .
YOU NEED TO BRING : sheets,pillow cases and towels, toilet paper, garbage bags,hand and dish soap.
NO SHORT STAYS:ONLY A FULL WEEK. .I shall send you a"Cottage Agreement" form and "Booking" form to complete and return to me.Please provide name of cottage, week(s) wanted to rent, # of adults, #of children and their ages.

At Red Bay there is excellent swimming, sailing, kayaking, wind surfacing, walking and biking. Wind surfing and kite flying are very popular at Red Bay . There are plenty of back country roads to explore by bicycle or car. Red Bay is centrally located to many attractions- day trips and activities within an hour's drive of Red Bay: Petrel Point boardwalk approx. 5 kilometers: Wiarton- supermarket shopping, hospital, McNeil site, Wiarton Willie approx. 18 kilometers; Sauble Beach- large sand beach, golf course shopping approximately 18 kilometers: Bruce Beckons- log cabin store, animals and delicious preserves- between Mar and Wiarton, great hiking on the Bruce Trail, approx. 15 kilometres, Bruce Caves-approx. 4 kilometers from Wiarton:Bruce Peninsula National Park at Tobermory- approx. 80 kilometers north of Red Bay.
