Greene Street is the main street in town. Silverton is located at 9,318 feet elevation. With no elevator available, renters need to be able to handle the stairs. There is a handrail and a landing for catching your breath. This charming two room, one bathroom apartment is most comfortable for two. The main room is furnished with a new queen bed, dresser, closet, end tables, couch (fold out double bed), coffee table, large screen television set and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with a small apartment stove and oven, full size refrigerator, microwave, and dinette table with four chairs. The bathroom has a pedestal sink, toilet, and a shower. The rooms are bright with large, south facing windows with a view of 13th Street and Sultan Mountain. A covered back deck includes two chairs for viewing the night sky or enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. (No outdoor cooking is available on the deck.) Downstairs covered storage for bicycles, motorcyles, etc. (up to 55" wide) is available. Everything in town is within walking distance to include restaurants, shops, train, historic buildings, and the museum.
