Crawford is a rural, ranching community of 500 people. My home is a wonderful nature retreat nestled in a pinion-juniper woodland. The house is five minutes from Crawford State Park, 20 minutes from the entrance to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, and 20 minutes from the organic farms and wineries of the North Fork Valley. Aspen, Telluride and Crested Butte ski resorts are less than 2 hours away. You’ll love my place because of the privacy, outdoor space and the scenery. My place is good for families, adventurers, and furry friends (pets).

This space would be perfect for a writer or artist's retreat and as a launching point to explore state and national parks. There is a trail that leads up Young's peak, right from the house. There is a child-friendly nature trail on the property next to the house. Our house is at the end of a private drive, on a half acre property. The house is surrounded by open space.
