You will love this beautiful Country Home that is 5800 square feet on 2.5 acres and borders Monument Lake. We have a paddle boat and canoe for your use on the lake. The lake is stocked with fish and we provide the fishing poles. The home is walking distance from Pikes National Forest Mount Herman Trails where you can go Hiking, Biking and Horseback Riding. We have bikes for your use on request and a cart pony who loves to show our guests a good time trotting around the country roads.

The interior of the home has has five large bedrooms, five bathrooms, a sunroom, dining room, sun room, laundry room, and a large kitchen that opens to a living room with fireplace. There are french doors that lead out from the living room to the back deck. There is plenty of seating, tables and a barbecue. From the deck you can watch the kids at play on the trampoline, swing set and zip line. You also have a great view of Monument Lake. The dining room has a large table with extra leaves that seats 8 and has musical instruments such as a piano, guitar and violin. The sunroom has a large table that seats an additional 8 people for meals and/or games. There is a family room with a television and computer. On the main floor is a mother-in-law room that is wheelchair accessible and has its own kitchenette and private bathroom. There is a door leading from the bedroom to the back deck. Next to the back deck is a jacuzzi that seats 6-8 and is wonderful at night as you can see many stars. The laundry room/mud room is between the bedroom and the three car garage.

On the second floor there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a California King size bed with a very comfortable mattress. There is a fireplace in the master bedroom and a balcony that overlooks the backyard and has a view of Monument Lake. The Master Bedroom also has a step exercise machine and massage table. The master bath has a step up bathtub and walk in shower and closet. The second bedroom sleeps four as it has a bunk bed and trundle bed. There is a laundry shoot that leeds from this bedroom down to the first floor laundry room. The third bedroom has a double bed and is next to the bathroom that has a walk in shower. At the end of the hall is an attic space that was converted into a kids play room. It has lots of toys and dress up outfits.

The recently finished basement is decorated as an English Pub. The basement bedroom has two antique beds and ties into the English theme. The "Loo" has a walk in shower with black and white tiles that match the floor. There is a pool table, dart board, bar and pub tables. A floor to ceiling entertainment center is positioned against the north wall and is equipped with a television and other electronics. The wrap around leather couch is positioned in front of the entertainment center and seats eight. A closet holds numerous games, movies and books. The basement opens to the backyard that has a play set, trampoline and zip line.

The Air Force Academy is only six miles away. It is a great place to tour, attend athletic events, and concerts. If you have family attending the Air Force Academy they will love to celebrate their graduation achievement with family and friends in our very spacious home. We embrace all our heroes and hope to make this event special.

There are many colleges in nearby Colorado Springs to include Pikes Peak Community College, Colorado Tech University, University of Colorado Springs, Everest College, Regis University, Colorado College, and Colorado Christian University. Our home would be a great place to celebrate a friend or family members achievements.

In the winter time you can build a snowman or go sledding at the nearby parks. We are just a 2-3 hour drive from many ski attractions, snowmobiling and dog sledding.
