Stay at our beloved Osprey House - named for the Osprey family that makes it's summer home in the baseball fields across the street. Watch the majestic birds from the second floor deck while drinking your coffee in the morning. The townhouse is brand new, designed from the start with vacationing families (including ours!) in mind. The house is maintained and appointed just like the vacation rentals we like to stay in.

Three bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, new construction townhouse in the River West neighborhood 1 mile from the center of Salida. Comfortable king beds in two bedrooms upstairs with new bunkbeds and daybed with trundle on the bottom floor to give the kids their own place to hang out. Two full bathrooms with tubs to wash the dirt of the kids upstairs and a half bath and laundry downstairs. The house has a large two car garage with room for cars and skis, bikes, boats and all the toys. Stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, fenced yard, cable TV, wireless internet -- ready for your fun-filled vacation in Salida!

Relax and explore the quaint town of Salida after enjoying all of the year-round outdoor activities that the Arkansas River Valley has to offer. From world class mountain biking and hiking, including the Continental Divide trail, to fun four-wheeling in the Collegiate Range to skiing at Monarch Mountain, and more. The house is located steps from private neighborhood access to the Gold Medal Trout waters of the Arkansas River. We hope you love Salida and the Arkansas River Valley as much as we do!

The house has fans in all the rooms with a whole house fan in the hallway to pull in the cool night air during the warm summer months. Local property manager for any needs during your stay. Safeway and a great local coffee shop are a short 6 blocks away, and easy access to downtown and the Monarch spur trail.

This front yard is xeriscaped and fenced in (4 ft fence). Potted plants are slotted for spring time. There is one house currently under construction during spring/summer 2017 across the street. None of the construction in the neighborhood has caused noise problems so far.
