And we know that you will say 'WOW' too, when you walk into this professionally decorated condo and, immediately, cast your eyes on the incredible view of the ever-changing Gulf of Mexico. The surf and sand will beckon you to step out onto the balcony and ' take it all in'. You will see an endless stretch of sandy, white beach extending from the East to the West. You will see and hear the rolling waves as they rush to meet the beach. You will see families and friends playing in the water or sunning upon the beach. You will see a golden sunrise or a glowing sunset. You will see dolphins swimming East in the morning and returning Westward in the evening. You will see a kaleidoscope of stars at night or marvel at a lightning show that an occasional thunderstorm over the gulf may bring. The picture never stays the same, but you will see it all ~ from the balcony of this corner condo of Driftwood Towers.

It was the view that hooked us, but we also know that you are looking for all the comforts of home as well, so we've furnished our condo with everything to make your stay comfortable. In the 2BR/2BA home away from home, you will find a TV in each bedroom and living room, 2DVD players and an AM/FM/CD player. So, be sure to bring your favorite movies (or rent them here) and tunes!

There is ceramic tile in the fully equipped kitchen as well as in the dining room, living room, and balcony. Both bedrooms are carpeted. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a window that boasts a view of the Gulf and a door that leads out to the balcony. It also has a private, full-size bath. The second bedroom has twin beds. This bedroom has a window that faces the Intercoastal Waterway. There is another full-size bath. There is also a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. From there, you can watch TV, listen to music, and gaze out at the ocean. The doorwall leading to the balcony offers you all the sights and sounds of the Gulf while you relax on the sofa or lounge in one of three inviting chairs.

The kitchen is well-stocked with all the appliances and utensils that you might need to make your own culinary delights. The dining area can accommodate six guests comfortably. There is also a table and four comfortable chairs on the balcony if prefer to enjoy your meal outdoors. Or, you might want to visit some of Gulf Shores' finest eating establishments, many of which are within walking distance. Bahama Bob's is right next door~best burgers, seafood, and tropical drinks on the beach~ and another incredible view of the Gulf from their outdoor deck!

For your convenience, the condo is also equipped with a washer and dryer, iron/ironing board, and a vacuum. All linens and towels are provided.

Driftwood Towers is a well-built, six story building(less people= uncrowded beach) There is a beautiful pool and newly remodeled lounging area(you can relax and watch the kids swim and swim). Two outdoor showers and foot washes are available, as well as 2 communal BBQ areas. Driftwood Towers is located just West of Hwy.59 and is within walking distance of, along with the restaurants, four large souvenir shops, several other 'quaint and 'quirky' little shops, and a small grocery/party store. Since it located West of Hwy.59, it is in a less congested area of Gulf Shores.

So... look no further. The key to this vacation get-away is yours.

As the owners of this "home away from home", we want our guests to know that we appreciate the feedback we receive and try to address any concerns and suggestions. New elevators were installed in 2016. YAY!!! Also, in the past year, we have replaced the refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. While we try to keep up with regular maintenance chores, we rely on our guests to inform us if something isn't working properly. We want you to be as comfortable as we are as you enjoy the ever-changing sights and sounds on the Gulf of Mexico. So, enjoy your visit and be sure to take a look at our guest book.
