The Smith Homestead in Alford, Massachusetts has been in our family for well over two hundred years and was once a dairy farm. We are located in one of the nicest settings in the Berkshires, with over 25 acres of fields and woods, and the crystal clear Alford Brook running through. We provide accommodations for single or double occupancy in our East Room suite, composed of a sitting room with fireplace, a spacious bedroom and a luxurious spa bath. We have wireless internet access. We offer a light breakfast of coffee, tea, along with fresh seasonal fruits with yogurt and or granola, fresh croissants and bread.

Take hikes through our fields and woods. Look for wildlife. The bird watching is great, I love to see the bluebirds especially. We are minutes away from Tanglewood, the Norman Rockwell Museum, Kripalu, and many other Berkshire attractions. Great restaurants are nearby in the surrounding area.
