Comfortable family friendly cottage complete with gas grill on large deck overlooking lake. 3 bedrooms on first floor with bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Large loft on second level with additional beds, games and a second TV. Ample parking, Linens and WiFi provided. Central heat and AC for total comfort. Dock, mooring, paddle boat, kayaks and canoe available. No steps to get to the water just a gentle incline on the lawn to the lake. Beautiful sunsets over the western shoreline.

Very much enjoyed our week on Skaneateles Lake. The Skaneateles Summer Home property was as advertised, a lake cottage/camp that is a short distance from town. The property has a nicely appointed kitchen, an oversize natural gas grill, nice living space and plenty of beds (3 bedrooms downstairs and the A-frame attic area has a full sized bed and a set of bunk beds). Steve, the owner, was very accommodating and was in regular communication to make sure everything about our stay was satisfactory. Relatives live next door in another cottage and were pleasant to interact with. Wireless functioned well as did the TV... but the focus was on the lake during the day and card and board games with family in the evening. There is a boat mooring that we used for our ski boat and we were out on the lake for hours each day. Weather could have been better as a cold front cooled temps down and brought an overcast day towards the end of our stay... but that is weather in upstate NY... We would like to plan a week next summer season and would certainly consider repeating our stay at the Skaneateles Summer Home.
