An old, but a very good place located about 15 minutes of walk from the ferry. Owner is really kind and caring. Plenty of space for 4-6 people for a comfortable stay. I can definitely recommend this place for someone who's looking for a short stay in Staten Island

Carmen was lovely to deal with. But if you are looking for a state of the art facility, this is not it. It is an 1854 house, with all amenities (but no full kitchen). But it is still an older house. Keep that in mind as you go into it, and you will thoroughly enjoy yourself! BTW, I think New Yorkers look at walking distances much differently than Canadians to. When a New Yorker says "just over there", it can mean any distance less than a mile! And returning from the Ferry to the house is all uphill. Google says it is a 22 minute walk, but I would beg to differ. Be prepared to spring for a taxi now and then, because it is a long exhausting walk home.
