This 2 bed 1 bath home is perfect for 1 or 2 couples. Situated right in the middle of the Cape, you can travel in either direction to see everything the area has to offer. In the sunny living room, there is a handmade coat rack created from real driftwood from Nantucket Island. Decorating the shelves are vintage postcard images, and in the large spacious dining area, a contemporary arrangement of dried & faux tropicals fills one corner. There are hand finished "shabby chic" pieces, along with a custom made cherry desk unit for your laptop. The front bedroom is decorated in a Nantucket cottage style, and the back bedroom has a contemporary oriental theme, with a new Japanese Tatami bed. Both bedrooms have new (in 2015) Queen size mattresses.

Extra large kitchen, with all new cookware (Emeril & Cuisinart), Keurig, and new refrigerator. Gas stove works well (even though you'll probably want to visit our fabulous restaurants on most nights!), and new countertop microwave. High top set in dining area seats 4, as well as 4 outdoors with a bistro table. New gas grill, high speed internet, A/C units in each bedroom. New flat screen in living room with expanded cable channels. Bring your own apple tv or other wifi device to sign into your own netflix account. Linens provided, as well as towels. Your choice to use or not. As described: this house is not really suitable for young children, as it is set up for adults (2 queen beds) but I leave that choice up to you. If you would like to rent the house with children, that's fine. No smoking or open flames such as candles. No pets.

Nearest freshwater beach is about 1 1/4 mi away easily accessible from the bike path, which is about 1/2 mi away. Nearest saltwater beach is Bank St. beach on Nantucket Sound, the Cape's south side, about 2.5 mi away, an easy 10 min drive.

Bay beaches are on the north side, 4 to 5 mi from the house. If you want some waves, the outer beaches, Nauset, Coast Guard or Marconi are your best bet, a 15 - 20 min drive, about 10 - 12 miles away.

Easy access to highway, Dunkin Donuts, gas station/convenience store with beer & wine just down the street.

Please do not ask for a discount. Cape Cod is a unique place to vacation, and even with the extra charges Homeaway adds on for themselves, you are getting a great deal. Also, I am sure your dog is very well behaved, but I do not allow pets - no exceptions. Thank you.
