Our home is located on the mainland, just 1.5 miles east from Cape San Blas Road. Cape San Blas has been rated in the top five of the best beaches in the United States.

Shopping in Port St. Joe is a 10 -minute dive to the west where you can stock up on all of the provisions you'll need. If you're not in the mood to cook, there are a number of great, local restaurants and night spots nearby. Port St Joe Shrimp Company has some of the best steamed shrimp carry out or fresh catch of the day.

You can enjoy the amazing Gulf views, occasional Dolphin sighting, Eagles Nest right out back of our home and spectacular sunrises and sunsets from almost every room in the house or while you are dining on the large 2nd floor balcony

You will LOVE the beautiful beach views from the master bedroom, balcony, and especially the loft. Looking through the back windows (guest bedroom, half bath, kitchen ,and loft) brings spacious views of the undisturbed Money Bayou and an EAGLES NEST !! WE JUST HAD A BABY born in this past spring!

The GROUND LEVEL has covered parking and a storage room that contains plentiful supply of beach chairs, and beach essentials for your convenience. There is also an outdoor shower with hot water and gas grill for fantastic BBQ’s.

On the First Floor there are 2 bedrooms: the Master has a King sized bed with a snuggle-pedic memory foam mattress topper for the perfect night sleep, a ceiling fan and flat-screen TV. The master bedroom has its own private bath with shower and a great view of the Gulf. The second bedroom is adjacent to a full bath that is equipped with a tub/shower combination. It has a Queen sized bed, flat screen tv, ceiling fan and over looks acres of protected state land and inhabitants ( bald eagles, osprey etc.

MAIN living area is on the second floor (note - if you have a hard time with stairs – this is not the ideal house for you. The kitchen is well equipped with all stainless steel appliances glass-top stove, side by-side refrigerator with water/ice dispenser, microwave, dishwasher, and pantry and is well stocked. There is dining for up to 6 people. The washer and dryer are located off the kitchen.

The Living area contains a vaulted great room and loft that over looks the living room. Large windows and sliding glass doors provide amazing views of the gulf from the kitchen, great room and loft. There is a large flat screen tv and dvd player and amazon fire TV (plenty to watch Netflix and thousands of shows and movies) .

Off the living room is a large porch deck perfect for enjoying coffee or cocktails while watching amazing sunrises/sunsets. You can often catch a glimpse of traveling Dolphins.

The loft has a Queen sofa sleeper, and flat screen TV also set up for games ( Xbox) Amazon Fire stick and a third bathroom. The house is equipped with WIFI (LIGHTNING FAST 200BPS!) and a landline.

Area Features:

As you walk along the quiet beach, you can find a variety of seashells, sand dollars and gems to collect or just enjoy watching the dolphins swimming by or eagles and osprey scouting for prey. And of course, swimming, sunbathing or fishing in the surf are always a favorite, too.

Our neighborhood is extremely quiet and friendly, with no thru traffic - a great place for families with children, or for anyone who just wants a quiet retreat to get away from it all!

You may want to rent a golf cart and cruise quietly through the streets or on the beach. Horseback riding on the beach or chartering boats can also be conveniently arranged.

Money Bayou is just a short walk down the beach where you can catch blue crabs, throw your cast net or put in your kayak to explore the winding waterway. Scalloping in nearby St. Joe Bay is also a lot of fun during the summer scallop season. These wonderful delicacies can be enjoyed on your vacation or frozen for later when you return home.

In addition, the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar is just a mile up the road where you can enjoy the area's delicious oysters, other seafood and a cold drink. Weekends at the Raw Bar often feature outdoor live entertainment and dancing.

Our area is like “Old World Florida.' There are no tall condos or hotels anywhere near by! Our beaches are very quiet and pristine and, in the off-season, you will rarely encounter anyone as you stroll quietly along the beach!

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy crabbing at the Bayou, shelling the wide Indian Pass Beaches, and bike riding to the world famous Indian Pass Raw Bar for fresh oysters, only minutes away. Centrally located, it's an about 20 minutes to Port St. Joe or Apalachicola for shops and restaurants. You will find your serenity here !!

A golf course is only a few miles away and there are 4 separate boat ramps within 15 miles.

Just 20 minutes to the east is the historic and quaint fishing town of Apalachicola. Here you will find some great shopping as well as many wonderful restaurants and night spots. In addition, you can walk along the boardwalk and see what catch the fishing boats have brought in for the day.

This hidden gem and that makes it all the better. Forget all the crowded Florida beaches and spread out on a beach that feels all your own-just a few minute walk away.
