Banana Cabana is our idea of what coming to the beach is all about. When we bought our little cottage back in 2006 we wanted it to look & feel like the beach. Bright beach colored rooms with colorful fun furniture.

Our little cottage is one block off the beach. You literally step off the front porch onto the quiet alleyway, walk past two houses, take a right and across the road is the dedicated beach access with miles of pet friendly, usually, non-crowded, white sandy beaches.

Our entire yard has a white picket fence which is great for pets or kids.

We have 2 bedrooms downstairs. 1 queen in one bedroom and 1 double in the other bedroom. Both have ceiling fans.

There is a carpeted loft upstairs with two single beds, best for kids.

Large downstairs bedroom closets, hardwood floors, more windows than wall space downstairs so plenty of fresh air & light. We have 1 bathroom with a shower, no tub but endless hot water.

It is a beach vacation so we currently don't have internet but there is an internet cafe close to the house as well as restaurants in town that do. If you have Verizon Wireless you will have a good signal inside and you could always use your phone for email / web. We do have cable and a VCR with DVD's on our bookshelf.

Our cottage is in a quiet neighborhood called Beacon Hill which is between Saint Joe Beach & Mexico Beach. We are in the Eastern time zone however we are less than a 1/4 mile from Central time zone which is great at New Years, we can celebrate twice.
