The space

Our studio is a treasure of a space for all kinds of travellers. This stand-alone building is clean, cozy and especially serene for the inner city. With features like skylights, a loft-bed, premium pull out couch and laundry, this space has everything you need to feel at home.

Guest access

The loft is located in our backyard, which we are currently landscaping. You are most welcome to grab a chair anytime if you'd like to take some air.

Interaction with guests

We live onsite and are available to assist you in any way. Your suite is totally private, so we are also happy to respect your space.

The neighbourhood

The Junction Triangle is one of the hottest emerging neighbourhoods in Toronto and we are steps away from the heart of the activity on Dupont Street. Within a few blocks you'll find fine dining, foodie restaurants and burgers and tacos for pickup. Fantastic coffee shops, bakeries and breweries, the strip is booming right now with new art galleries popping up every week.

We are a ten minute walk from the vibrant Junction neighbourhood, where you can take in even more goodness: cheese, chocolate, meat and organic stores, the Junction Farmer's Market is a must hit every Saturday morning!

Along with this we are surrounded by an number of parks, including a community garden half a block away. There are many quiet corners to enjoy and take in the outdoors.

Getting around

There are multiple transit options. The Dupont bus stops at the end of our street. We are a 15 minute walk from the subway, or you can hop on either the 168 Symington (3 minute walk) or 40 Junction (7 minute walk) to get to the Subway.

There is easy access to the Railpath (also great place for a morning run!), where you can catch the Go-train or UP-train to the airport or directly downtown to Union Station. If you are travelling light, take the UP train from the airport and walk to our place in 10 minutes!

If you are driving and need parking, you can get a temporary street parking pass through the city up to a week in advance. Do a search for "Toronto temporary street parking pass". If you need details, just let me know.

Other things to note

We have a toddler, so you may hear a small voice in the backyard from time to time. We have a kamado-style charcoal BBQ that we use a lot in the summer, which you are also welcome to use.
