Villa Rotonda is located in Rotonda West, on the beautiful Florida Gulf Coast. Spacious and immaculately maintained whilst situated in the quiet, deed restricted, mainly residential area of Rotonda, our home has all you would need to enjoy a relaxing, rejuvenating stay on the spectacular Gulf Coast. A Championship Golf Course is on your door step. (Visitors are welcome with Green Fees starting from $23.99) The beautiful beaches of Manesota Key and Boca Grande are only a 15 minute and 25 minute drive away. The famous coastline of Captiva and Sanibel are just over an hour away where you can watch the famous "Sanibel Stoop". With restaurants, shops, Championship golf courses, bike trails, boat trips and fishing within 5 minutes you probably won't need to go much further. If you do, The Everglades, Busch Gardens, Disney, The Kennedy Space Centre even Miami are all within reach. Additionally, you can cruise to the romantic Keys for a couple of days from nearby Fort Myers.

Miscellaneous:

Maid service: The villa and linens are cleaned before you arrive and after you leave. Plentiful indoor and outdoor towels are provided along with all bed linen, including alternative comforters/quilts for seasonal changes. This is included in the rental price. Other: The nook area with table and 4 chairs and three breakfast bar stools is great for starting the day with a pool view whilst using the formal dining room (table and 6 chairs) ends the day perfectly. The double car garage has numerous deck chairs, boogie boards, floats, basic golf clubs, bikes and umbrellas to help you enjoy your stay.

Local Activity, Interest and Information:

*The area is extremely flat and with many state parks around, therefore cyclists are also catered for. We do have pleasure bikes as part of the rental not touring ones.

Keen sailors can hire boats, jet skis or parasail within a 10 minute drive.

*Nature lovers can visit the state parks and wildlife enthusiasts can see a huge variety of birds and local wildlife not far from the villa and in fact can be observed from our outside space.

*Within driving distance are several outlet malls which are a shopper’s paradise, lots of bargains to be had all year round.

*The nearest beach is just a 15 minute drive away but with over 15 beaches to choose from, including the No 1 beach in America, within 1.5 hours drive you will be spoiled for choice. The Gulf coast boasts 5 of America’s top beaches and with miles of white powdered sand to walk on you will see why. Many public beaches will have all the facilities you need many with free parking.

*Tampa airport is 1.5 hours away and you can get direct flights from the UK. Orlando is 2.5 hours, whilst Miami is c.3 hours. Fort Myers is 1 hour away and can be reached by internal US flights from many major US cities.

*Car hire is essential in this area. There are many restaurants and shops catering for all tastes just a short drive away, with some menus and locations provided in the Villa.

*Port Charlotte with its harbour and shopping mall is just 15 mins away with larger shopping malls at Ellenton Prime Outlets(50 mins) and Naples- Miramar (1 hour).

*Busch Gardens is easily do-able for the day being 1.5 hours away and the International *Shopping mall close to Tampa airport is a must for the designer labels.

*Within 10 minutes you will find major supermarkets, shops, banks, restaurants etc. There is a wider selection of restaurants within 15 mins drive and a cinema and bowling alley at Port Charlotte Mall.

*Boats can be hired for fishing trips or you can go on a tour and watch the sun go down within a 5-10 minute drive.

*There are many bike trails around the area too and Rotunda Community Park is a short walk away and has free tennis courts. (We provide basic rackets and balls)
