Welcome to Placida Beach 503 on Little Gasparilla Island! Our stunning views were dubbed “a slice of heaven” by the original owners and many renters have echoed this in the guest book comments. We certainly agree and are confident you will too!!

Imagine seven miles of gorgeous white sand beach - great shelling, fishing, swimming, on a very gradual sand bar bottom!

Quiet – just the sounds of waves lapping and ospreys calling!

Abundant wildlife – manatee (you’ll see them daily in the harbour), gopher tortoises, eagles, osprey, 12 species of shore birds, dolphins (you’ll see them daily too), sea turtles nesting (May to Oct.) – a nature lover’s and walker’s delight!

And, oh yes, no cars – only sand golf cart pathways, - no stores, no rat race!!

From our 2 screened lanais we have amazing Gulf of Mexico views, gulf sounds, gulf breezes, and incredible gulf sunsets!!

Go out our front door and you are steps away from our heated fresh water pool to the right, and the beach, across the dunes walkway, to the left.

We rented our unit a few years ago, fell in love with this place, and purchased it! Since then we have refurbished with - a new queen bed and mattress set; new queen sofa bed; new lounge chair and ottomans; new window coverings; new fans; all new linens (bed, bath, kitchen); new small appliances; new stainless steel pots and pans, utensils, knives, etc.. The floors are tiled throughout.

It has a clean, airy, beachy feel!

You'll find everything you could possibly need for a restful holiday:

- linens provided include bedding for both queen beds, towels, beach towels, dish

towels, placemats, napkins

- in the kitchen - dishes, cutlery, glasses, cooking and baking equipment, blender,

kettle, coffee maker and grinder, toaster

- a starter supply of the following items - dishwasher detergent, salt and pepper, foil

and plastic wrap, laundry detergent, paper towel, garbage bags, toilet tissue, facial

tissues, hand soap

- even a flashlight and batteries for those evening strolls

Our bridgeless barrier island is a relaxing 8 minute ferry ride from the mainland ferry dock at Placida Harbour, our sister gated condo community, where you will park your car (gated and complimentary). Our Placida Harbour Club ferry (also complimentary) seats 22 and runs on the hour, daily from 9 to 6 and also evenings Wed., Fri., Sat..

On the mainland, we are very fortunate to have a Publix grocery store (friendliest staff ever), a post office, a gas station, and several great restaurants, all within a 4 minute drive of our entrance gates.

If you’re a boater, boat slips are available at our association’s private dock while you are on island - maximum boat length 22', $15 per day slip rental.

Lastly, it is important to note that we have on site rental management. We feel that having rental management on site is great for all concerned. They are wonderful professionals who will handle reservations & payment, welcome you, solve any issues that may arrive during your stay, and ensure a smooth departure.
