Welcome! This light, bright and airy cottage is a 1400 sf. double wide mobile home that has recently been renovated and remodeled. It comes with cable tv and high speed wifi. It is relaxing, sunny and bright with a true beach vibe. The giant chalk board in the dining area is great for leaving a note or for the budding artist. We Do Not Allow Smoking Within The Cottage.
Three bedrooms, 1 new pillow top Queen, 1 new Bamboo memory foam bed, and bunk beds. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan for that relaxing hum and breeze and of course central heat and air conditioning.
An open and well-appointed kitchen with adjoining dining room and a breakfast bar makes it roomy enough for one cook or three. Two porches on either side of the cottage and a backyard raised canal-side deck, with grill, party lights and a picnic table give you several options for outdoor cooking and dining as well. Brand new central heat & air & new ductwork assures you of clean air. The canal is only 30 feet out the back door with a 10x10 dock and a 10x16 floating dock. It's a short boat trip to the intra-coastal waterway from the dock, so bring your boat. If you even feel like leaving at all, you can take a leisurely stroll through the friendly neighborhood to the private beach access for the neighborhood. You will pass 2 great restaurants along the way. Napoli's has an outdoor deck with live music on the weekends. The shady walk to the beach is a five-minute stroll. If you want to drive, there are several beach-side parks within a mile, each with a wooden walkover to the beach. They have bathrooms and showers with covered picnic tables. Several boat launches are also within a mile of our cottage.
The yard is great for relaxing outside. The kids can run and play. It's fenced on three sides. (not at the canal front bulkhead; you must watch small children outdoors) There is a large paved concrete parking area and an outdoor shower too.
We're 5 minutes to grocery stores (Publix and Winn Dixie). You can walk to local restaurants 5 minutes away for a pizza & beer with live music on the weekends. Close to several beach access ramps, boat ramps, many restaurants, convenience / gas store, surf shop, pubs, bait shop, and only a 10-15 minute EASY drive to downtown St. Augustine. Downtown Historic district is only 9 miles from the cottage. This area is surrounded by water and A1A is a scenic drive all the way down the coast. A fun day trip is to drive south on A1A to Daytona Beach. Disney World/Orlando is about a 2 hour drive from the cottage. I -95 access is 7 miles from the cottage.
There are no shortages of things to do and see in this area. Saint Augustine 'the Ancient City' has Ripley's Museum, The Wax Museum, several Ghost Tours, The Pirate Ship Tours, The Pub Tour, Castillo de San Marcos the Spanish Fort, Saint George Street an interesting stroll through the heart of the city, The Fountain of Youth, The Old Jail, Alligator Farm and many other interesting and fun things to do.

It features a free guided tour and boat ride to an old Spanish fortress on the ICW and nature walkways throughout the surrounding woods. A little further south on AIA is Marineland, which has recently been bought by the Atlanta Aquarium but you can still swim with the dolphins, just down the road a bit is Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, nice natural settings with many interesting ponds and plants of numerous types and it spans from the Intracoastal Waterway across AIA to the beach.
