If you're feeling active, Lake Worth's Municipal Golf Course, public boat launch, and brand new Kayak Launch (opening spring 2012) are all about 3/4 mile away.

Feel like exploring? Borrow the beach cruisers and pedal along the scenic bike route, past numerous historic homes adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. Keep your eyes open for manatees chomping on sea grass!

Ready to hit the beach? Borrow the house's beach gear (umbrella, chairs, towels, cooler, noodles), and walk, bike, or drive 1.5 miles to Lake Worth's public beach, which also has a recently-renovated fishing pier (that rents fishing gear).

Want to see some other towns? Lake Worth is located in the middle of Palm Beach County. In just a short drive, you can easily reach West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Jupiter. Roger Dean Stadium, which hosts Spring Training each year for both the Florida Marlins and the St Louis Cardinals, is just 21 miles north.
