Two tandem sit-on ocean kayaks come with the property (see picture), which is situated just a short float (approx 1 Mile) to Three Sisters Springs where the manatees gather. The pool is heated by a brand new heat pump and solar pool cover. As long as the outdoor temps don't stay below 45 degrees, the pool can stay above 80 degrees.

The basement entertainment and game room provides something for everyone. Including a 12' Shuffle Board Table, full size bubble hockey, 2 x 50' TVs, PS3, Nintendo WII and more.

With 1 x King, 3 x queens, 2 x Twin over Full (bunk room), a pull out queen sleeper (arrives Feb 1st) as well as ample space for additional air mattresses upstairs or down the house can bed up to 14, while comfortably holding several more. (in a pinch, the laundry room can fit a queen air mattress)

Whether a couple looking for a romantic get away, a family, or large group, this house will handle your needs. Sit 8-14 for meals upstairs (taking advantage of provided second dining room table and folding chairs) with room for six more diners in the downstairs kitchenette. Two floors of comfortable living space make full use of Manatee Manor's 4400 square feet and can easily accommodate multiple families or large groups.

To make your big group events that much easier, we have installed a 2nd full size refrigerator in the downstairs kitchenette.

The reverse floor plan is perfect for providing great second story views over Crystal River into King's Bay. Entertain in style with new furnishings upstairs and down. Relax on the second story deck, or entertain your guests around the heated pool (heat pump) and hot tub on on the 1100 sq ft patio.

Tie your boat up or inquire about using the homes one available hydraulic lift.

Fisherman and Scallopers will appreciate easy access (~13 minutes) to the Gulf of Mexico, as well as the dock's clean up table and hose. Others may enjoy peacefully sitting on the docks built in bench seats overlooking one of the widest views on the river. (BOOK NOW for scallop season, which has been extended by three weeks this year, starting July 1st going through Sept 25th)

Divers, Snorklers, Kayakers, and nature enthusiasts will enjoy the close proximity to the wealth of sea life, especially the manatees and waterfowl provided in Crystal River's nature rich waters. The house is just about 1 Mile to Three Sisters Springs where the Manatees gather.

In the down hours younger guests and families can keep themselves happily busy in the first floor entertainment center and game room featuring two flat panel televisions, surround sound, and two gaming systems, PS3 and Nintendo Wii with controllers and games provided. Enjoy a fun night of video bowling or tennis with the family without leaving the house.

Guests looking for a more refined experience will enjoy the 180 degree water front views from an upscale living room featuring large picture windows, ample seating, and 60' flat screen panel television with wall mounted surround sound.

The kitchen is well appointed with newly upgraded stainless steel appliances, back splash, and boasts an array of amenities including pots, pans, baking sheets, measuring cups, utensils, flatware, serving trays, blender, coffee machine, toaster, griddle, and a large pantry, all meant to give you the comforts of home while sharing our wonderful family vacation property.

The two main upstairs baths are completely remodeled to showroom quality with upscale travertine shower tile on the walls, custom inlay, and porcelain flooring with gorgeous new finishings and shower doors. (See pictures)

The master bedroom is built for relaxation away from the crowd, featuring the same 180 degree water front views as the living room as well as a new hard wood king bed, upscale custom closet, new window treatments, and 40 inch flatscreen wall mounted television.

The home's basic DirecTV package, 4 x DVD players (some DVDs included), and small reading selection will offer something for everyone for downtime or rainy days.

Other amenities include access to the owners Celestron telescope which you can use to explore the night sky and all it's wonders or sit comfortably in the ground floor screened in porch while watching guests and kids enjoy the hot tub and pool.

Nearby vendors will be happy to take you on nature tours or rent you fishing boats, pontoons, kayaks, or bikes. Travel just a few miles up Fort Island Trail to Crystal River's beach front or just two miles to the Plantation SPA and Resort for golf, SPA, or local watering holes and restaurants.

Crystal River is located just 90 minutes from Orlando (Disney World & Epcot).

From late fall until late spring Crystal River is the #1 spot in America to view and interact with Manatees. Crystal River is at the heart of the Nature Coast of Florida. The city is situated around the magnificent Kings Bay, which is spring-fed and so keeps a constant 72 °F (22 °C) temperature year round.
