Enjoy the breeze and crashing waves at our waterfront cottage at Hawk’s Nest Beach in Old Lyme, CT. Porch faces Long Island Sound and adjoins the living room with picture window views of beach. Fully equipped eat in kitchen. Beach and water views from most rooms. Beach front is private for only our cottage to high tide water mark.
Beachfront has plenty of space for your boat, kayak, paddleboard, etc. Bring your fishing gear and fish right off the beach or jetty. Directly across the Sound from Orient Point, the north fork of Long Island, NY. Its blinking lighthouse can be seen on clear evenings.
Our beach community has a small general store for household necessities, toys and slushies. Daily activities are available for different age groups from lollypop hunts and scavenger hunts to tie dying t-shirts.
This vintage home has remained in our family since being built in 1928 and has been used by family as a year round residence throughout the years. It has been a place of peaceful relaxation from busy everyday life as well as a venue for weddings, cookouts with friends and family reunions.
