Located in the town of Milford this newly renovated direct waterfront beach cottage has it all! The open floor plan lends itself to enjoying all of the activities going on around you.
The charm of this quaint waterfront cottage has not been altered by the changes we have made. What still remains is that this house is close to the ground and easy to enter and exit without going up two or three flights of stairs. The house is not high up on pilings! You do not have to climb 17 stairs to enter. You enter into the living room and you first see a beautiful old, classic fireplace. The rooms are all open to each other and provide for great family flow. The views of Long Island Sound from the living room, dining area and kitchen are all spectacular because we have an enormous sliding glass door and many windows.
This home features three bedrooms. One of these bedrooms is on the first floor and full bathroom with a bathtub. This is helpful for families who have family member who would rather not go up a set of stairs. The house has two bedrooms on the second floor. One of the bedrooms on the 2nd floor faces the water and is enhanced by a small deck. Perfect for your first cup of coffee in the morning or that glass of wine at 5:00 ! I do believe the clock is always set on 5:00 here!
This home has 2 full bathrooms, one on each level of the house. The first and second floor bathrooms BOTH have bathtubs.
Our modern renovated kitchen features all new appliances and a gas stove. We have done our best to provide you with all the tools you need to make a family meal. The gas grill is located right outside the kitchen door to assist in making meals easier to create ! PLUS ! As you prep and cook your meals you have the sounds and views of the water that are available to you from ALL the windows in the kitchen and dining area ~ a dining experience that can't be beat !!

This beach house is extremely well maintained and managed. Cher was a great communicator and provided us with much more information than we needed but were delighted to have! We were fortunate that we were able to communicate because I am very interested in hearing ALL of the details! The house was spotless! The floor plan of this house is open and always felt larger than it actually is. It is extremely well appointed with quality kitchen items ~ i love to cook and I had everything I needed to make a nice dinner for the family. The waterfront was wonderful as to woke to hungry Sea Gulls yapping at each other as they looked for breakfast! We spent mornings and afternoons walking the length of the bay for our daily exercise. As a Milford native we loved going back home to play and visit with our family. We are delighted to have found this treasure ! My only hesitation in writing this review is that it will be booked next time we come to stay! A big Thank you to Cher for making this the best visit ever to Milford! We will be back!
