The oversize ottoman doubles as a single sleeper also. A folding wall separates the living room area from the rest of the condo for privacy. After a long day of hiking the mountain, panning for gold at Crow Creek mine, viewing the animals at Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, or checking out the local Portage Glacier, this warm and welcoming getaway invites you to relax and unwind.

Should you choose to eat out, Jack Sprats is 200 feet away for scrumptious eats. The Bake Shop about 300 feet & by the lifts, serves breakfast, oversized cinnamon roles, homemade soups and sandwiches. The Sitzmark Bar is in the same building and opens for refreshments daily and offers nightlife. The shuttle stop is about 150 feet away for free transport to various stops around Girdwood as well as the Hotel Alyeska Resort. Bike/walking paths are an alternative to downtown Girdwood, the Double Musky and take about 20 minutes. The downtown area also offers a library, kids playground, restaurants, Post Office, Clinic and Grocery. So, you can pretty much park the car while you are here.
