We are calling it our Alaska cabin. Its quiet, cozy, great views, and a 5 minute drive to Eagle River for groceries or a great cup of coffee at Jitters (our local spot). There is great hiking and views-for-miles just minutes up the road from our house to the top of Skyline Dr. at Mt. Baldy (alaskahikesearch.com/hikes/mt-baldy/#.VR3ZjmbglcQ). Or just sit on the deck with an evening glass of wine and look out across at Hiland Mountain or on a clear day north to see Denali. Eagle River is a great spot for day trips north to Palmer, Hatcher's Pass, Big Lake, or south to Anchorage, Artic Valley, Alyeska, and the Kenai Peninsula.
Our home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and is set up with 3 king beds, a great open floor plan, and easy flat driveway for any car, or even parking an RV.
