Majestic, powerful, vast, inspiring and breath-taking are the views of Lake Michigan from the living room, dining room, a bedroom and the large front deck of the Lyon's Cottage. The sunsets are spectacular and different every night of the summer. This classic Leelanau County ranch home is spacious, comfortably furnished, very solid and surrounds its occupants in the seasoned glow of cedar. The cottage sits feet from and looks out over spectacular Lake Michigan with 200 feet of private beach. The cottage is a few miles north of Leland, near the well known Happy Hour Tavern and Restaurant off Gill's Pier Road has three good sized bedrooms: one bedroom sports a king bed, the other two have two twin beds each. There is a pull out queen sofa in the living room. Provided for guests are high speed internet, a washer/dryer, a fireplace, deck, gas grill, and deck furniture Two yak boards are also on the property for guest use and enjoyment. The very private beach, though narrow this year, sits a distance below the high bluff on which the cottage watches over the water! There is a newly built strp structure from the bluff to the beach. Linens, towels, and enough paper and soap products are provided to get our guests started for the time they spend vacationing in the house.
